Easy Pull Apart Garlic Rolls

One of my favorite things about going out to eat for dinner is the bread. I often base my favorite place to eat by the bread they serve. Carbaholic? Yes, that’s me!

Many nights we will have a loaf of artisan bread or garlic bread alongside our dinner at home, but there’s nothing like a warm, buttery, soft, dinner roll!

I’ve been making these delectable garlic butter buns for years and you won’t believe how easy they were to make!  So easy, it could be dangerous………..as in, we could eat them every night and I’ll need a bigger size pants dangerous

You only need a few things to impress your dinner guests:  Canned biscuits, butter, garlic, and fresh parsley.

How To Make Pull-Apart Garlic Rolls

Making homemade rolls doesn’t have to be a headache and more hassle than it’s worth. I always love a good shortcut that turns out just as amazing as the from-scratch version, which is why I love these amazingly easy pull apart garlic rolls.

To make the recipe yourself you simply unroll your canned biscuits, then roll the biscuits out a bit with a rolling pin, then spread the biscuits with butter and crushed garlic or garlic powder.

Next, you’ll roll biscuits like you would a burrito, then cut into pieces and put the buttered biscuit pieces into a lightly greased muffin tin and bake according to biscuit package directions. When they come out of the oven, let them cool, then brush with a little melted butter and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

How To Serve Pull-Apart Garlic Rolls

Like I mentioned before, these rolls are dangerously good, which means you might find yourself serving them with just about every meal! I don’t blame you, I would eat these pull-apart garlic rolls every night if I could.

They go perfectly with simple dishes like stuffed peppers, crispy oven-baked buffalo ranch chicken strips, or bbq chicken salad.

What makes this recipe even better is how easily customizable it is! to your own tastes. Want a stronger garlic flavor, then add a touch more garlic, or make them Italian rolls and sprinkle some Italian seasoning on top. If you really want to have some fun with it then, add shredded mozzarella on top, or grated parmesan cheese to the butter.

Tips For Making The Best Pull-Apart Garlic Rolls

  • Don’t roll the dough too thin. You’re only trying to make the dough a little larger, and big enough to roll up. Don’t roll it so thin that it becomes a pie crust.
  • Make sure to use canned, refrigerated, biscuit dough, not the frozen biscuits. If you try to use the frozen ready to bake biscuits, you’ll need to let them thaw in the refrigerator overnight before starting the recipe as the dough needs to be chilled, not frozen
  • To reheat wrap them in a towel and microwave until just slightly warm. Warming the buns up this way helps prevent them from getting tough and dried out.

Tools Used To Make These Pull-Apart Garlic Rolls

Stand Mixer or Hand Mixer:

I honestly don’t know where I would be without my stand mixer! It’s truly a lifesaver for anyone who does a decent amount of baking or cooking. With that being said, if you aren’t ready to commit to a stand mixer purchase, a good hand mixer works just as well too!

Pastry/Pizza Roller

To get perfectly uniform dough for any recipe I’m making, I always use my pastry roller. It makes rolling out the dough easy as can be!

Muffin Pan

The non-stick muffin tins have been my go-to for years, and I couldn’t live without them! They always bake just right and the food slides right out with no problem.
