It’s finally May and I think Spring is officially here to stay!! Last weekend was what you would ask for if you could order perfect spring weather….. 60’s and 70’s, not a cloud in the sky. a very slight breeze and no humidity!!  We enjoyed all weekend outside, including a beautiful wedding that our daughters were in.

I can’t wait to get our deck in summer shape.  Last year we bought new outdoor furniture, rug, and umbrella.  This year, we only needed to replace the rug.  Since we have dogs, I decided to go with something without so much white, so I ordered this one.

My mom and I always go plant shopping on Mother’s Day, but all the nurseries are so crowded, so we’re going to go this weekend to beat the crowds. 

I need to find a spot for these in our yard this year – probably around our mailbox. I also need to order another one of these shrubs.  I planted one last fall and the dogs dug it up!! They have never done that before, so I’m not sure if I need to find a new spot for it or not. – wish me luck!  Last fall we also bought an Autumn Blaze maple tree for the backyard and it looks like it held up perfectly through the winter.

If you know me, you know I love my Dyson vacuums.  Our cordless gets the most use, often multiple times a day and has been dying a slow death.  So my husband came home with this little surprise for me today!!

I’m so excited for sandal season! I’ve already broke out my favorite white sandals from last year and I’m debating on ordering another pair in rose gold. But, I did order these (in navy)  and these (in white and a pair in black).  A girl can never have too many sandals right? 😉

I’ve been living in this t-shirt, I bought it in several colors. Right now they are “buy one get one 50% off”!

What am I binge-watching?  Shameless.  I’m on season 5 and can’t stop!!

Need some ideas for Cinco de Mayo?  A few of our favorites dishes include: Oven-Baked Pineapple Chicken Quesadillas, Southwest Chicken Quesadilla Salad, Chicken and Spinach Enchiladas, White Chili Bean Queso Dip, Avocado Cream Sauce with taquitos and of course, Beer Margaritas!!

We got a new family photo at the wedding last weekend…….I think it’s my most favorite photo of the four of us! It sums us up perfectly 😉
