Pull-Apart Garlic Bread With Blue Cheese and Rosemary

“I think I’ve had enough bread” – Said no one ever. Which is why today I’m blessing your life with this amazing Pull-Apart Garlic Bread with Blue Cheese and Rosemary!

Tis the season for appetizers! With holiday parties and the need for football food, I knew a snack-style savory pull-apart bread would be a hit. I baked the BEST savory pull-apart bread you will ever eat!

Delicious, easy cheesy pull-apart garlic bread takes only 5 ingredients, and is bursting with flavor! The best part is, it’s super easy thanks to Rhodes Bake-N-Serv® frozen roll dough! No mixing or kneading…..just fresh baked bread goodness.

The roasted garlic takes this recipe from 0 to 100 real quick! While the sharp salty blue cheese makes it extra hard to resist. But, if you’re not a fan of blue cheese, swap it out for feta or goat if you’d prefer!  Just don’t skip the roasted garlic.

There is something so great about delicious cheesy garlic bread! It’s addictive… and who can resist a cheesy, delicious appetizer?

How to Assemble Pull-Apart Bread

Imagine soft, buttery bread that it pulls apart into tender pieces. Easily achieved at home as pull-apart bread or bubble bread (or monkey bread if it’s sweet).

You can easily make pull-apart, bubble or monkey bread in a bundt or tube pan, round cake or deep dish pizza pans, loaf pans or a cast iron skillet. Just adjust the size of the dough balls to fit your vessel.

Cut bread dough into 2-inch pieces and roll in melted butter.  I just pour the butter in my pan, no need to dirty another dish.

Place the buttered dough balls into your pan, pressing them against each other either randomly or in concentric circles until the pan is full. Cover and set aside to rise.

Then bake until golden brown and you’ll have buttery pull-apart garlic bread at your fingertips.

Making Pull-Apart Bread With Frozen Rolls

One of the reasons I love this pull-apart bread recipe so much is because there’s no bread-making involved. Using frozen dough takes all the stress out of it. All you have to do is let the dough thaw, rise, bake.

FOR THAWED BUT STILL COLD ROLLS: Remove frozen rolls from freezer and place on counter for an hour or two so they start to thaw, but not rise yet. They may become room temperature while you handle them, which is fine.

HOW TO LET ROLLS RISE: Let rolls rise in a warm spot, such as the top of the refrigerator, in an oven with just the light on, near a heat register, on top of a heating pad or in direct sunlight.

Secrets For This Fool Proof Pull-Apart Garlic Bread

While the secret to this easy fresh baked bread is the frozen rolls, the secret to the insane garlic flavor is the roasted garlic! Seriously, it’s is a game changer.

HOW TO ROAST GARLIC: Slice off top of the head of garlic. Drizzle with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Wrap in foil and place on a sheet pan or shallow dish.

Roast in a 400°F oven for about 45 minutes until golden and soft. Let cool.

While garlic is cooling, cut thawed, but still cold, rolls into fourths and roll in melted butter. Arrange dough pieces in a pan (I used my cast iron skillet). Then squeeze out garlic cloves and smear that creamy delicious roasted garlic over the rolls and sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese and fresh rosemary.

Spray a piece of plastic wrap with cooking spray, cover pan with plastic wrap (sprayed side down) and set aside to rise to double in size.  I put mine in the oven with just the light on for heat and it took a little over an hour for them to rise.

Bake for 20-25 minutes and serve warm.
