If you were around for the holidays, you may remember my Holiday Wish List, and how I said I thought a Henckels Chef’s Knife could possibly change my life.
Well fortunately for me, Santa came thru and I was right! My new knife has changed my life in the kitchen!!
I have never owned a good knife, so considering that a good chef’s knife is probably the single most important and useful tool in a kitchen, it’s no wonder it’s made such an impact on me!
Now, I’ll be the first to tell you I don’t know much about knives but I do know I’m in LOVE with the 8″ Henckels Chef’s Knife I’m now using and I’m blown away at the difference a good knife can make.
I wish I could make sure you ALL had a good knife in your kitchen……….but I can make sure ONE of you has one!

I never had good knives in my kitchen for years but you are SO correct!! Cooking is so much more fun when you have a good knife and you are less apt to cut yourself if you have a good, sharp knife because it slices through things like butter so no pushing and having the chance to cut yourself. I do have some good knives but I’d sure love this Henkels knife.
I would love to tell you what an awesome knife I have. But I don’t. I literally just told my Hubs this weekend that we needed to remedy that. Here’s hoping I get one in the mail. And if not, thanks for a great suggestion.
I remember feeling like a real adult when I bought my first set of knives after moving into my first apartment for $100. I still have and use these knives but they honestly aren’t that great. I’ve heard one good knife can make all the difference!

I would love to have a GOOD chefs knife! All we own is a lot of sharp JUNK! Being on a tight budget with 4 children to care for limits what we can buy, regardless of our wants…and most of the time our needs! BTW, I love your page!! Thanks so much for everything you do for your readers.

We had a great cutco knife, but it was my daughter’s so she took it when she moved out. Now all we have are those cheapos that don’t always do the trick when cutting some things like potatoes and other things that have some volume to them. Thanks for the giveway, my husband would love to win this !!! He loves cooking and it would be nice if he had a good tool to do it with.

I have always loved the Henkel knives! I have a paring knife from them I use every time I’m in the kitchen.
I do not own a lifetime good knife. I love buying knives but i can only afford the $20 knives that last only a couple yrs. Im afraid if i did buy a nice set i wouldnt be able to shop for knives anymore
