How To Make Garlic Roasted Shrimp
I can often get in a rut with making the same dishes week after week, which can start to make me go a little crazy after a while. It’s mostly because I like to stick to easy recipes, and by now I know which ones we all love that are the easiest, but I have to say that can get boring.
Once I decided to branch out and make garlic roasted shrimp it’s like my life had color again! Not only is it insanely delicious but it’s equally as easy to make!
First just spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray or line with parchment paper. Then In a large bowl toss shrimp with garlic, oil, crushed red pepper flakes, salt and pepper to coat.
Arrange the shrimp on a prepared baking sheet and roast the shrimp. Lastly, squeeze some lemon over the shrimp and garnish with parsley. Serve immediately and dig into the best shrimp you’ve ever had!

I Have A Lot Of Questions About Garlic Roasted Shrimp
What kind of shrimp should I buy? There aren’t any set rule on what shrimp you have to buy, but what I prefer to buy is the raw large or jumbo shrimp. I also get mine shelled and deveined to make the prep process easier. If you’re looking for a cheaper option you can buy ones you have to shell and devein yourself, it will just add more prep time to the recipe.
For the best results buy the shrimp fresh and leave the tails on for a restaurant style look. While I recommend getting the fresh shrimp, the frozen will work too if need be. Just be sure to thaw them before cooking.
How long will the shrimp keep? Shrimp is something that unfortunately has a pretty short shelf life. Your raw, uncooked shrimp will last in the refrigerator for about 2-3 before it goes bad. Once you have cooked the garlic roasted shrimp it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
Can shrimp be refrozen? Once the shrimp has been cooked I do not recommend freezing it, especially if you bought frozen shrimp, to begin with. The more something is frozen the more the quality of the flavors are lost.
Since this is such a quick and easy recipe to make, and because you can buy shrimp in specific weights, I suggest only making as much as you want to eat at that moment.
