I’ve been busy decking the halls and baking cookies, but I have one last simple Christmas project to share. I realize by now, most of you already have your holiday decor finished and looking beautiful. But, for those of you who are still rushing around to get things finished before family arrives , or you are collecting up Christmas ideas to pin for next year —you are going to LOVE this easy project!
I made a colorful, DIY Ho Ho Ho Christmas Wreath in about a 10 minutes with just an artificial pine wreath, a variety of Christmas picks, ribbon and hot glue. I picked up everything at Target. (you could find some of these Christmas wreath items in after Christmas sales, and make one for next year!)
The fun thing about this wreath is there is no right or wrong – I started with the ho-ho-ho stems and placed 6 of them around the wreath, and hot-glued them in place. I filled in between with berry stems – my Target was pretty picked over, so I grabbed what they had left, and used gold, silver and white. It didn’t matter that they weren’t all the same. Last I tucked in a few feathery stems I had, just to give my Christmas wreath a little pizzazz.
I then wrapped some ribbon around the wreath and hung it up over the mirror in our family room.
See! I told you it was easy!
Wishing you all a Peaceful, Merry and Bright Christmas!
From my family to yours! May all the joys of the season be yours now and throughout the new year!

Love the Ho Ho Ho’s!! 🙂
I love this idea. It would be a great addition to the Christmas decor. I will have to do it next year.
Love the wreath and where you hung it! I am pinning away for next year and making a “to do list” in my 2015 calendar. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your family 😉
Well, Christmas wreaths are really easy to make if you know which materials to have, and which steps to follow.
when you hot glued some of your picks into the Christmas Wreath did you glue those to branches?
