Industrial Glam Office Makeover | I’m Lovin’ It

A small room in gets an industrial glam makeover that can easily come down when the current renter is ready to move.
I always love a good makeover. Mandi Gubler of Vintage Revivals never fails. Not only is this girl a wizard with DIY and room design but she can thrift shop like nobody’s business!
I can sometimes spot something really awesome at a thrift store and when I bring it home, it looks like something I picked up at a thrift store. Not for Mandi! When she brings thrifted pieces into a room they usually look like they were custom made one of a kinds! and not because she made them all match!!
oh no, quite the opposite! Mandi is not a fan of matchy-matchy. She says mixing painted, woods, metals and mirror is what makes a room feel collected and complete. Spend “your color budget” wisely…. “You need to have a star, and the star tends to be the most attention grabbing thing in the room. Everything else is smallish pops that makes it complete but doesn’t try to steal the show.
Mandi has a fearless approach to decorating and I LOVE what she did for the small space office makeover for beauty blogger Cara of Maskcara.com.
Cara wanted a space to work her beauty magic that was welcoming, calm, creative and glamorous. Mandi did a fabulous job covering it all! I wish I could style shelves like that!

And get this…..Cara rents her place, so everything Mandi did is reversible. When Cara moves out everything can be pulled out with little damage, and a few hours filling holes…..it never happened!

I haven’t popped over to Mandi’s blog in a while, but I’ve loved her ever since I first saw her work on Nate Berkus’ show. <–Loved that show.
