Saying goodbye…………..

I learned that it’s not easy saying good by to a beloved pet.
Last Thursday night we took our 3-1/2 year old kitty, Kix to the vet. He had been sick for the last few days, and was getting progressively worse.
The somber drive to the vet with Sunshine, was long and slow. We were pretty sure what the outcome was going to entail.
Our wonderful vet, Dr. Klepper at Pet Station, confirmed our suspicions, and after much soul searching and tears we decided it was best for Kix to be put to sleep.
Sunshine and I held him and said our tearful good-byes.
We have many fond memories that we will forever keep in our hearts as well as pictures that will always be a treasure to us.

Oh, no. I am so sorry! I'm a cat lover and have had to say goodbye to several sweet kitties in my lifetime. It never gets easier – they're like family members. But I do cherish the memories of each of mine and think of them often. I hope you all will be able to do the same and maybe be ready for a new little four-legged friend one day. They make a house a home, don't they?

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat! That is horrible. I don't know what I'd do if my dog died (I know I know she will eventually) they become a part of your family.
