I use vanilla in a cake mix recipe.For a yummy version of a white or yellow cake, I add a very healthy dose of vanilla and it gives it an incredible flavor and is so easy. I use apricot preserves or pureed fresh peaches for the filling and then frost it with a vanilla buttercream. People always rave about it and I get a kick out of telling them it’s from a mix.

I’ve made my own before …just put the split beans in vodka .I have a sour cream cookie that requires a really great vanilla.
There isn’t a baked good that I can think of that doesn’t taste better with vanilla.
