Dryer Sheet Tip & Pretty Laundry Rooms

You may remember that I was recently sent a box of Arm & Hammer Essentials Fabric Softener Sheets and I have to tell you what I’ve been doing with them! I’ve been keeping one softener sheet in the linen closet with our towels, and one in the chest with our extra sheets. Oh MY! Every time I pull out a towel or fresh sheets they smell wonderfully fresh! Like they just came out of the laundry.
Let’s face it, we spend a lot of time doing laundry.
It’s not a “fun” task, but it can be more enjoyable in a pretty space.
Kevin and Amanda make great use of a small laundry room space
Jen blows my mind with all her special touches on her dark laundry room, turned gorgeous beach theme laundry room
Even a space as small as a bathroom stall can be turned into a pretty laundry space, like Young House Love did with theirs.
I’m participating in The Switch & Save Challenge, trying a variety of Arm & Hammer products and sharing my experiences with you!

I’ve subscribed to your emails and love them!! 🙂
My laundry room is in the basement and one side doubles as storage. With the amount of laundry I do with 3 (soon to be 4) boys and a hard-working husband, I spend a lot of time in this boring space! I’d love to brighten it up!! 🙂
I would have Maytag front load washer and dryer, a small sink to soak or rinse clothes, beautiful cabinets to put my laundry items in and maybe a small tv since I spend so much time dong laundry in this house.

On the first floor, a large table built into the wall for folding and storing things, as well as a three- or four-section laundry sorting system. Perfect!
Tweeted the giveaway as well.
I like you on Facebook. I just purchased a new dryer (not by choice) and am searching for ideas to organize my laundry room. I would love to put in lots of cabinets for storage. Right now, we have NOTHING. I had used the top of the washer & dryer for storage, but with the new dryer, they are now stacked so I have lost the little bit of “storage” that I had.
Just remember that dryer sheets used in the dryer are the most toxic thing you can have in your house, since the chemicals and perfumes, etc. are rubbing on your skin from your clothes all day long.
My dream would be to have a laundry room ! Mines in my bathroom and I have no room to fold clothes ~
I shared on fb at Bargain Fun Steph
My ideal laundry room would be an actual room and have enough room for an ironing board to be up all the time and storage room– I would love to have a new front loading washer and dryer as well

I would love more shelf & counter space for my laundry room.
My dream laundry room is large, even with a desk and attached mudroom. White cabinetry; shiny, new, colorful washer/dryer and fun color to match on the wall in maybe polka dots.

We just installed a new laundry room and it looks great and so much more functional than our old one. However, both washer and dryer aren’t working right and having been without one for 2 weeks we couldn’t wait to use our new one. Heavens, who would have known that all the new electronic stuff on them wouldn’t work right. They keep shutting off with all sorts of error codes. Now after just installing them on Thursday the service tech’s are coming out on Monday.
So in answer to your question, I’d like to have my new laundry room actually working!
My dream laundry room is actually a mud room. With 5 littles, I’d like to have a half bath/laundry room right inside the back door so they could track mud and snow in there instead of all thru the house. It would also be bigger than a hall closet! It would have enough space to have a rod to hang clothes that need to dry, and shelves… Yep, my dream mud/laundry/bath room…..
I’ve actually been working on some remodeling in my laundry room. My next wish is to buy some unfinished cabinets to add in there.

My dream laundry room would have a upgraded washer and dryer set. I would love for the dryer to have a steam setting. Also would like some finishing touches to the decor. And if we are realy talking about a dream I would have someone else to do my laundry! LOL

My dream laundry room includes my current Samsung blue front loading washer and dryer (which are currently shoved into a very small, poor excuse for a laundry space, closet. I want a good sized room with a window and lots of bring lights. Maybe a pale yellow color on the wall, with white cabinets above the washer and dryer. I want a waist high counter to fold clothes on. I want a laundry sink. I want storage under my counter. Oh…in my dreams….maybe someday?

Oh the joys of a clean, organized, beautiful laundry room (the one in my mind)! It would have new GE washer and dryer on pedestals, soaking sink, in-wall ironing board, cupboards above and sorting bins below the folding counter with extra space to store the vacuum cleaner. Oh! and skylights! I need sunlight as my laundry room has no windows.
my dream laundry room would come with a laundress – some to do the laundry including the folding, hanging and ironing…. 🙂
My laundry space is a closet space with an accordion door. My dream laundry room would be to have actually have a “room”. It would include a new front loading, water and energy saving washer and dryer; wash sink, shelves for laundry baskets; somewhere to dry sweaters and hang dry clothes; a counter for folding… and since this is my dream laundry room, a place for an ironing board.
