Thanks for hosting Cheryl!
I love cheesecake cakes that are tall and impressive. They take a lot of time to make, but are so worth it.
Chocolate cake is my fav… thanks!!
Chocolate cake with chocolate icing is my fave! Thanks for the party.
I’ve not seen all the “Surprise Inside” cakes, but I loved the simplicity of the Christmas tree inside cake. Due to the cold winter this year, I’m perfectly fine waiting 9 more months to make it!
Thanks a bunch for the party!!!! 🙂

mmmm…..cake. I’ll eat almost any kind of cake!
my mom’s lemon lime jello poke cake! oh it brings back such great memories 🙂
My favorite cake is a Triple Chocolate Mousse cake. I’ve made it with white chocolate mousse on top and have also changed it up and used raspberry mousse and cordial cherry mousse. All are great!
Thanks so much for hosting, Cheryl ~ I love cookbooks (I hoard them actually) ~ the Bunny Cake is my favorite, maybe because I so want it to be spring.
Have a lovely week!
Thanks so much for the party, Cheryl! And for telling us about the book. It looks amazing and I’d love to check it out!

I love the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting from a local bakery near me, it is so moist and so good!
My mom’s German chocolate cake
I love Schwarz Wilder Kirsch Torte (Black Forest Cake) the best
My grandma once made me a 3-d bunny cake with home made hard candy smiley faces all around – it was beautiful (my grandma had a small cake decorating business out of her home) however…she couldn’t bake a cake to save her life ! It was rock hard and served as birthday decoration for about a week 🙂
I love, love, love Williamsburg Orange cake but , like many others, it was a hard decision because there are so many wonderful cakes!
I love a good yellow cake with chocolate buttercream frosting!
My favorite cake was a lemonade cake a lady in the church used to make. I don’t know how she made it; sadly, she took the secret to her grave – unfortunate that others can’t enjoy it! Thanks for the chance to win the book.
German chocolate cake
Cheesecake is my favorite, I’ll eat any kind of cheesecake but plain is the best though!
Plain cheesecake…no topping required. Thanks for the chance to win this amazing book.
RED VELVET CAKE MY FAVOURITE
I think my favorite cake of all time was my Granny’s Coconut cake…made only with fresh, grated coconut! Wish I could duplicate it just once 🙂
Cheesecake my favourite
My favorite cake is the one my husband and/or kids make for me every year for my birthday – chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. It really isn’t the BEST cake I’ve ever tasted but it is always made with love and that is what melts my heart.
Red velvet cake with lots of frosting!
Chocolate, with no icing!
My grandmother’s pound cake has to be my absolute favorite.
pumpkin cheese cake
I love a moist chocolate cake!
My favorite is what I call traditional wedding or birthday cake. Pound cake or white cake with a yummy buttercream icing. Love it. Thanks for chance to win this cool book.
I love Red Velvet Cake layered with a cheesecake center and cream cheese buttercream.
I have many favorite cakes – unfortunately! One is a cherry cheesecake my sister made probably 30 years ago for a barbeque, using a cake mix and canned cherry pie filling. Sooo yummy that we make it at least once a summer.
My favorite cake is chocolate fudge with a fluffy buttercream frosting! 🙂
Thank you for this post! My favorite cake is basically anything with dark chocolate cuz I’m an addict. Lol I recently came to love the Hershey’s Special Dark Chocolate Cake and I add instant coffee grounds to it to give it an even better flavor!
My favourite cake and has always been – in my whole family – our very own Sachertorte. I live in Austria where the Sachertorte originally comes from although I must say the “official” one by the Hotel Sacher is the most disgusting of all of them. I love this cake because it was the first I ever made when I was about 10 or so… I loved to hang around in the kitchen with my mom who made fresh lunch for us everyday. She also loves cake for breakfast so she used to bake a lot (recently she confessed that she loves sweets but not so much the baking but anyway…). I used to watch, then started helping and then I made my first Sachertorte on my own for one of my mom’s birthday. Ever since I “took over” the baking in my family – although I’ve moved out of my parents’ place years ago. I love baking and I still supply family and friends with “goodies”. The Sachertorte is still the most popular. Maybe because of its fluffy chocolate consistency with jam fillings and chocolate icing… It’s so simple to make but if you do it right – and with love which is the most important requirement for cooking/baking anyway – it’s soooo good. Here I have to confess that I love baking and decorating all kinds of fancy cakes and stuff but I’m not so much into the eating. I mean, I do like them and eat a piece but I prefer to “make” them and make others happy by letting them eat it. (Ask my grandpa, he sure gained a few kilos because he’s always been my “guinea pig”.. Not that he complained…) So for every birthday in my family and most of my close friends, it has become a tradition for me to make a Sachertorte. But only with our family recipe since it’s still the best in the world!
I love pound cake! Love it plain, with fruit, anyway. I also made a couple of the rose cakes and they turned out so well! Would love to have this cookbook.
I like white cake with chocolate icing.
I love chocolate cake with vanilla icing. I also love white cake with any icing. Actually, I just like cake. A lot. But no fruit. Cake and fruit should not mix.
