I most love the summer time because I can see all my grandchildren’s faces as they jump out of their parents’ cars and run into the yard in their little swimsuits, so excited to be here for our annual pool party. Grandpa and I fill up every pool we have and lay them all over the yard. It is always hot and the sky is so blue. Everyone brings along their water toys and squirt guns. Nobody is left out of the fun of getting wet on a hot summer day. We play all day and rest on blankets spread on the thick green grass in the shade. There are always fresh summer salads, fruits and veggies to snack on, along with a barbeque. By the end of the day my grandchildren’s cheeks and noses are pink from the sun and the smiles are many. These are my favorite summer days!
My favorite part of summer is going to the beach!
