My favorite thing to do in the summer is dig in the dirt. I love to plant herbs and smell the aromas they create in my secret garden.

Now that I have grandchildren I love being with them, taking them on fun summer outings like trips to the zoo and amusement parks and just spending as much time with them as possible.

Wow! What don’t I love about summer!! I love having all three of my kids home with me and not having to focus on homework, homework, homework. I love spending all day with them and all my little nephews and nieces around my Mom’s pool. I love making fresh fruit smoothies and eating tons of watermelon together and making smores outside at night. I love love LOVE Vacation Bible School at our church! It’s just after school is out and is a great kickoff for the summer! I just really love Summer!!!!

My FAVORITE part about summer actually getting to go on all the little mini trips that you plan in the winter. Getting to go visit places that you can only get to enjoy in the summer. That is the best!

My favorite thing about summer is hearing my kids laughing while playing with their friends outside, especially after dark (it makes me cool when I let them stay up late to play in the dark- LOL)!
