You might remember this past summer when I told you about my first Stitch Fix Box. Well, January marked the seventh shipment my daughter and I have received hand picked for each of us by our own personal stylist at Stitch Fix. This month I kept something that I want to send to one lucky TidyMom reader!
We have been getting a lot of fun things, not only really cute tops, dresses, pants and sweaters, we have also gotten some really great accessories! I think I have kept every scarf they have sent (my weakness), a necklace that I get SO many compliments on every time I wear it –even wore it to Anthropologie once and the clerk said it looked like an Anthro necklace! This month was the first time I had a purse in my box!!
I actually had no idea they sent purses and I instantly fell in love with it!
For starters, it’s a crossbody purse, with cute little tassels. I especially love the flap over feature plus it has a zipper compartment on the back and the front (under the flap over)
It also has a really cute little chevron lining inside. What’s not to love right?
Oh, and it’s black……so it will go with anything and can be used all year – dressed up or down!!
If you are wondering what Stitch Fix is all about? You can get all the detail in my post about my first Stitch Fix Box. Basically, it is an online service where you have a personal stylist that hand selects items specifically for you! They mail you a package of 5 apparel and accessory items each month, and you decide what you want to keep or mail back (in a postage paid bag). There is a $20 styling fee per “fix”, but if you choose to keep any of the items, that fee is waived. And if you decide to keep all five items, you get 25% off.
WIN IT
Now for the surprise!…….Since I just got a few new purses for Christmas, I thought it would be fun to keep this Emperia Crossbody Purse from my Stitch Fix shipment to giveaway to one of you!!! The Stitch Fix price for this handbag was $48, but the bag is listed on the Emperia site for $70.

That purse is TOO cute! Thanks so much for hosting Cheryl!
My new prescription is working. I had some strange symptoms and a great doctor knew what it was immediately. Turns out it was something pretty common.

Thank you so much for the giveaway and the party!
I had a pretty good year, I’m not sure what would be the best though. My son starting to like school and me not feeling guilty anymore (he started pre-k)
Thanks so much for hosting Cheryl. I’ve seen lots of bloggers using StitchFix recently, and it seems like the fashion consultants do a great job matching clothes to personalities.
Thanks for the giveaway, that purse is so cute! I don’t have a “best thing” from 2013 … it wasn’t the greatest year for me. I’m hoping the 2014 is SO MUCH BETTER!!!

The best thing that happened to me was losing the last 10 pounds by Nov 2013!
I can’t think of the “best thing” as it was just a year and not all that great…no major greatness anyway. But I love the purse and would love to win!
I went on a European vacation and got to tour five countries!
I went back to work (P/T) after being a SAHM for 14 years. Not that I didn’t love every minute of being a SAHM, but I feel like I have started a new chapter in my life….while also being able to be there for my kids when they get home from school.
Starting a new job that is closer to home and greatly reducing a 2 hour daily commute
The best thing that happened to me in 2013 was I lost 100 pounds.
Thanks for hosting Cheryl!

Making some new friends through my blog.

I left my job. When I started working there, it was my dream job, but after an economic downturn, some wage freezes, and a moody supervisor, it was so freeing to be on to the next thing!
The best thing that happened to me in 2013 was that I gained a greater testimony that prayer works!!
Wow – the best thing that happened to me in 2013 – An awesome trip with just my husband and 4 other couples to the Lake of the Ozarks. A much needed couples vacation.

Ran my first 10k!
The best thing that happened to me was that I got to move back to the U.S. after spending a year living in China. Great to be with my kids and grandkids again.

I retired and we are all healthy! And I found Tidy Mom and love to follow this amazing blog!
I have had so many wonderful years in my life–I feel so blessed–but I think that our oldest daughter and our two grandchildren came for a week during Thanksgiving was the best. Our three children have not been all together for many years and our five grandchildren had not been together for almost four years–so this was so wonderful for all of us. We missed that our SIL had to stay behind to work–but the rest of us together was just heaven…
Thanks for the party, Cheryl! 🙂

This year, the best thing that happened to me is I found out I was going to be a Grandmother!! I am very excited. We found out it’s a boy and he is due in April.
I GOT MARRIED! <3 <3 <3
Lots of good stuff for our family in 2013. Our oldest 2 both graduated from High School & started college at THE SAME UNIVERSITY WHERE I WORK! Simply awesome that both made that choice. One son made the football team as a walkon & one some earned a spot as a football team manager meaning brothers could share this great experience! My teacher/coach husband received an amazing opportunity accepting a new job closer to home & with a state ranked program! Younger 3 kiddos excelled in new schools. And I was blissfully happy thru all our transitions!
I found out we’re having another baby due in July!
The best part of 2013?? Meeting up with old friends that I hadn’t seen in years… and sitting through the entire lunch service catching up and reminiscing. Cheesy? Maybe, but I’m still amazed nothing has changed in 10 years. 🙂
PS, the crossbody is fab. Thanks so much!
Thanks for the party, Cheryl!
I survived it? Does that count? 🙂
So many great things happened to me in 2013 and one of the best was that I reconciled with an old friend.
Our baby boy
2013 was a rough year, but every moment I spent with my family was a true blessing.
