I’m going to take a stab at it and assume most of you don’t ENJOY cleaning your floors, right?
I have a lot of ceramic tile in my house and with 4 people and 2-3 dogs, my floors get dirty every day. I do a good job keeping it vacuumed, but mopping…..yeah, that’s not my favorite. Since I don’t have small kids crawling I don’t mop as often as I used to. Mopping is NOT fun!
I was super excited with the people at iRobot asked me if I’d like to give the new Scooba 390 a spin!……..ummmm a Robot that will clean my floors for me?! you don’t even have to ask! Send her over!
What IS the iRobot Scooba?
iRobot Scooba is a floor cleaning robot that uses iAdapt™ Responsive Cleaning Technology to ensure that the Scooba washes every part of your floor multiple times. It gets into areas you can’t easily reach, including under and around furniture, washing until the job is complete. iRobot Scooba uses a four stage cleaning system to simultaneously prep, wash, scrub and squeegee floors with the touch of a button. Unlike using a bucket of cleaning water and a mop, Scooba always washes with clean water, there’s no deposit of dirt while cleaning.
iRobt Scooba 390 features
- New Extended Life Power Management delivers longer battery life than previous models. One battery charge will cover 850 square feet and run for about 45 minutes. Ideal for homes with larger areas.
- Cleans sealed hardwood, tile and linoleum floors.
- No Pre-Sweeping required.
- Four-stage cleaning removes up to 98% of common household bacteria* and uses only fresh solution from start to finish.
- Autonomous cleaning pattern covers each area of floor an average of 5 times
- Scooba 390 cleans with tap water, water and vinegar or Scooba Hard Floor Cleaner.
- Sensors allow the Scooba 390 to avoid stairs and ledges
- Cleans beneath cabinet edges, tables, chairs and other hard-to-reach places.
- Cliff sensor technology keeps Scooba from falling down stairs and other drop-offs.
- Virtual Wall® technology keeps Scooba in the rooms you want to clean and out of those you don’t.
I made a little video showing you first hand how easy it is to use.
I show you how easy it is to set up to use, you get to see it in action in my home (there’s even a short clip of Cullen checking it out lol), then I show you how good of a job it did and how to clean it up when it’s finished cleaning your floors!
So cool right?
This would make a GREAT Mother’s Day gift! You could WIN ONE for Mom or your self!
The great people at iRobot would like to take the work out of cleaning floors for one lucky TidyMom reader!

Cleaning my floors is the bane of my existence, it is without a doubt my most hated chore. I love to vacuum, and I will clean the bathroom any time but mopping bleck! I use a Rubbermaid microfiber spray mop thing.
I like Tidy mom on FB that’s how I found out about the give away:)
I vacuum my floors, many times a day and mop when people are coming over. With 3 kids, ages 4, 3, and 1 it is pointless to mop without someone seeing that it actually is clean at some point in our daily lives!
I am a twitter follower, I posted too.
I follow your amazing pinterest!
Eee! I want a robot floor cleaner! And I sure don’t clean ’em that way now. I have to use good ole elbow grease.

Floors top the cleaning list at my house, with two small children! I vacuum atleast once a day and try to mop every three.
You know I have to laugh at myself at how a jolt of joy went through me when I saw this product! heehee. I swiffer my floors every day and mop 2-3 times a week. I use a towel designed for mopping (Cuban style) with water and vinegar. Does a good job, but I wouldn’t mind having the Scooba for the other days and backup.
I LOVE SCOOBA!! I had one but my HUSBAND BROKE IT!!! Since then, my son and I scrub the floors on our hands and knees. (Not the best way to bond, but it gets the job done.) I follow you on Twitter, I don’t have a Facebook account.
I wash my floors on my hands and knees, plus I’m 6 months pregnant so it’s double not fun! I would LOVE to win this, thanks Tidy Mom and IRobot for this giveaway! : )

I vacuum my hardwoods every other day and mop with vinegar and water once or twice a week. About once a month I get on my hands and knees and try to do some deep cleaning. It never seems to be enough and I really don’t have time to do it more then that. An hour after I have cleaned there is dirt and slobber everywhere! Now if I could get my cats and basset hound to help out…

fingers crossed
I normally vacuum my hardwoods (1 whole level of my house). Then I use a washable mop with just water to scrub the spots and wipe the floors clean. I’d love to try the iRobot out. It would be nice to leave it going while I worked on other tasks. I saw you post about this on Instagram.
I now follow you on Pinterest.
I vaccum and occasionally steam mop my hardwoods and tile but I have ALWAYS wanted an irobot! So exciting! 🙂
I use a steam mop and a vacuum

Errrr. Um. I don’t clean my floors as often as I should but when I do it is a vac, a detail brush, a mop, another mop and done. I hate it with a passion 🙁
I clean my floors by sweeping and moping, and with 9 kids and 6 dogs I do it often!
