I’m going to take a stab at it and assume most of you don’t ENJOY cleaning your floors, right?
I have a lot of ceramic tile in my house and with 4 people and 2-3 dogs, my floors get dirty every day. I do a good job keeping it vacuumed, but mopping…..yeah, that’s not my favorite. Since I don’t have small kids crawling I don’t mop as often as I used to. Mopping is NOT fun!
I was super excited with the people at iRobot asked me if I’d like to give the new Scooba 390 a spin!……..ummmm a Robot that will clean my floors for me?! you don’t even have to ask! Send her over!
What IS the iRobot Scooba?
iRobot Scooba is a floor cleaning robot that uses iAdapt™ Responsive Cleaning Technology to ensure that the Scooba washes every part of your floor multiple times. It gets into areas you can’t easily reach, including under and around furniture, washing until the job is complete. iRobot Scooba uses a four stage cleaning system to simultaneously prep, wash, scrub and squeegee floors with the touch of a button. Unlike using a bucket of cleaning water and a mop, Scooba always washes with clean water, there’s no deposit of dirt while cleaning.
iRobt Scooba 390 features
- New Extended Life Power Management delivers longer battery life than previous models. One battery charge will cover 850 square feet and run for about 45 minutes. Ideal for homes with larger areas.
- Cleans sealed hardwood, tile and linoleum floors.
- No Pre-Sweeping required.
- Four-stage cleaning removes up to 98% of common household bacteria* and uses only fresh solution from start to finish.
- Autonomous cleaning pattern covers each area of floor an average of 5 times
- Scooba 390 cleans with tap water, water and vinegar or Scooba Hard Floor Cleaner.
- Sensors allow the Scooba 390 to avoid stairs and ledges
- Cleans beneath cabinet edges, tables, chairs and other hard-to-reach places.
- Cliff sensor technology keeps Scooba from falling down stairs and other drop-offs.
- Virtual Wall® technology keeps Scooba in the rooms you want to clean and out of those you don’t.
I made a little video showing you first hand how easy it is to use.
I show you how easy it is to set up to use, you get to see it in action in my home (there’s even a short clip of Cullen checking it out lol), then I show you how good of a job it did and how to clean it up when it’s finished cleaning your floors!
So cool right?
This would make a GREAT Mother’s Day gift! You could WIN ONE for Mom or your self!
The great people at iRobot would like to take the work out of cleaning floors for one lucky TidyMom reader!

I have a Dyson that I use on all of my floors first – then I get down on my hands and knees with a bucket for the kitchen and bathrooms – urghhh!

I clean my floors with a spray bottle of water, a towel and my feet. I really need this!! I am following you on pinterest and liked you on Facebook. 🙂
I sweep and use a libman mop that has a squirt cleaner attached. I’d love an easier way to do it though.

I currently will sweep and then use the wet cloths with my swiffer. It’d be nice if I could knock out a step!
Three kids and a dog make it impossible to keep floors clean. Usually a spill creates an opportunity to get on my hands and knees and spot clean but all floors are swept, mopped and wiped clean weekly.
I like you both on Facebook! (Fb name EightOhh Sixx)
I clean with a swiffer or scrub brush but it is hard to keep up! Would love to win this!!
I clean my hardwoods with a swiffer wet-jet, and also often on my hands and knees. I’m a busy work at home mom, so an iRobot would be crazy awesome!

We have 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 1 messy husband! 🙂 I sweep, microfiber dust mop, and use a spraying microfiber mop but it never stays clean for very long. I would LOVE to win this so I could spend my time cleaning other areas of the house, like the bathroom!
I have a small out of pocket rescue plus a family- I mop, scrub on hands and knees, dustmop, and sweep- it is always dirty! This would give me time to enjoy life instead of cleaning after it!

I vacuum my hard floors every 2-3 days, and I just use a regular mop once a week.I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and 4 kids….. i can use all the help I can get LOL
I currently use a vacuum to get the crumbs and then a shark steam mop.

I have 3 cats that kick liter on the tile floor and I DO NOT like sweeping up and mopping all the time! I use a sifter for areas other than the liter area and then have to use a sponge mop. NOT FUN! Never seem clean enough!
THanks for the chance!

Thanks for the change to win!
I’m following you on Pinterest! Great pins, btw!
I sweep and swifter mop just about every other day thanks to one dog, one son and one husband. I break out the heavy duty mop once a month. A robot to mop with no pre-sweeping would be a dream!
I sweep, then use a steam mop. Unfortunately it’s not a steam mop that does both, darn it!
I would totally love this!!!!!
I use a steam mop but would love to have this to do the in between!
I have a steam mop, but with a messy dog and a messy cook (my husband), the floor isn’t as clean as it could be. I would love to have one of these babies!
My husband is the one that mops our floors since we have a very large area of flat floors. He uses an industrial mop and bucket. We sweep several times a week. I have been thinking about purchasing one of these, just have to wait and save money.

Our house has all hardwood and sheet vinyl flooring. I spend a good deal of time w/ a broom, or a swiffer. We use murphys oil and a sponge mop. With six kids, floors are a constant chore.

I really need to win this! Thanks for the opportunity.
I use a bucket of hot Lysol water, a stiff brush, a rag to wipe up, and lots of elbow grease! It’s hard, but you could eat off my floors.
I use a steam cleaner but then I have to go over it and apply wax.
I have a Swiffer but I also have cats & cat litter. I have bad elbows & sure could use this!
I clean my laminate floor with a damp mop. I vacuum my carpet.

I liked Irobot on FB – I liked Tidy Mom months ago on FB –
I vacuum up the dog hair and dirt, then steam mop or use a hard wood floor cleaner.
We have 5 dogs and 1 cat. There are 5 adults living here and like you I really don’t mop as often as I used to. Recently purchased a Eureka steam mop in and effort to make the dreaded chore easier. Still have to vacuum and/or sweep prior to washing, so although I’m not dragging around a bucket and mop, it is still a dreaded chore.
i clean my floors as little as possible…………..you CAN NOT eat off them………..lol
i sweep and then use a swiffer on the kitchen and bath. the rest is carpeted.
