I’m going to take a stab at it and assume most of you don’t ENJOY cleaning your floors, right?
I have a lot of ceramic tile in my house and with 4 people and 2-3 dogs, my floors get dirty every day. I do a good job keeping it vacuumed, but mopping…..yeah, that’s not my favorite. Since I don’t have small kids crawling I don’t mop as often as I used to. Mopping is NOT fun!
I was super excited with the people at iRobot asked me if I’d like to give the new Scooba 390 a spin!……..ummmm a Robot that will clean my floors for me?! you don’t even have to ask! Send her over!
What IS the iRobot Scooba?
iRobot Scooba is a floor cleaning robot that uses iAdapt™ Responsive Cleaning Technology to ensure that the Scooba washes every part of your floor multiple times. It gets into areas you can’t easily reach, including under and around furniture, washing until the job is complete. iRobot Scooba uses a four stage cleaning system to simultaneously prep, wash, scrub and squeegee floors with the touch of a button. Unlike using a bucket of cleaning water and a mop, Scooba always washes with clean water, there’s no deposit of dirt while cleaning.
iRobt Scooba 390 features
- New Extended Life Power Management delivers longer battery life than previous models. One battery charge will cover 850 square feet and run for about 45 minutes. Ideal for homes with larger areas.
- Cleans sealed hardwood, tile and linoleum floors.
- No Pre-Sweeping required.
- Four-stage cleaning removes up to 98% of common household bacteria* and uses only fresh solution from start to finish.
- Autonomous cleaning pattern covers each area of floor an average of 5 times
- Scooba 390 cleans with tap water, water and vinegar or Scooba Hard Floor Cleaner.
- Sensors allow the Scooba 390 to avoid stairs and ledges
- Cleans beneath cabinet edges, tables, chairs and other hard-to-reach places.
- Cliff sensor technology keeps Scooba from falling down stairs and other drop-offs.
- Virtual Wall® technology keeps Scooba in the rooms you want to clean and out of those you don’t.
I made a little video showing you first hand how easy it is to use.
I show you how easy it is to set up to use, you get to see it in action in my home (there’s even a short clip of Cullen checking it out lol), then I show you how good of a job it did and how to clean it up when it’s finished cleaning your floors!
So cool right?
This would make a GREAT Mother’s Day gift! You could WIN ONE for Mom or your self!
The great people at iRobot would like to take the work out of cleaning floors for one lucky TidyMom reader!

I have a wonderful 14 year old son who cleans my floors usually with a Dirt Devil Steam Mop, I would love to switch to a IRobot Scooba 390!!!!
I follow Tidy Mom on FB!! love it
I still do the old fashioned way by getting on my hands and knees and wash and dry! I just feel like I can get it cleaner that way. This would be awesome to have someone do that for me!!
I hate mopping more than ANYTHING. I love to clean but for some reason mopping is horrendous for me. I use a scrubbing mop and a sink and its misery the whole time. My downstairs is almost entirely tile so this would be perfect for me!
I sweep and mop and sweep and mop and sweep and mop and sweep and mop. Would love to have the iRobot to help me out!

I have ceramic floors. I sweep then use a Swifter Wet Mop to clean the floor. I still have to use a couple of the cloths because I’m not sure that it’s clean until the cloth is clean. Gone are the days to be able to get down on my hands and knees to mop with a scrub brush. LOL
I clean my floors with a mop! ” liked” Tidy Mom and iRobot on Facebook
Right now I clean my floors on my hands and knees… or by hatching swiffer pads to my kids and letting the “ice skate” on the floors — sure hoping I win —–
Unfortunately, I don’t clean my floors until it gets really bad or company is coming over. One of these could help a lot I’m sure.
I usually sweep with a broom and dust pan and then mop my floors. I have vinyl tile throughout my entire house.
We have white lino in the kitchen I sweep and sweep and sweep and then I wash with a wet jet, and then maybe I seep again. It is possible that a scooba would change my life.
The only way I have found to ease my mind that my floors are clean for my family is to first vacuum then to clean the floors the old fashioned way, hands and knees. I first clean with vinegar and water and then follow with a olive oil, vinegar mix to moisturize the wood since they are original oak floors from the 40’s. My husband thinks I am crazy but they sure look nice when I finish.
I clean my floors on my hands and knees. Actually, I use a sponge mop and then go around the perimeter of the room on my hands and knees. It’s a pain in the you know what! Would love to have a scooba 390!
I use a Shark steam mop but when it has been too long between uses, I find myself on my hands and knees scrubbing away! The Scooba looks awesome!
I do the old vacuum and then mop routine – I’ve had my eye on these robot cleaners for a while – so Jetsons!

I vacuum and mop…I have a dog, messy boys and I am the worst I am a messy cook. I need this baby boy do I !!
I like you on Facebook. I have 5 kids, a husband and a puppy. We have about 2,000 square feet downstair’s, and it’s a hassle to clean. I sweep, then mop. For quick cleans, I will use my swiffer mop. It’s an hour’s worth of work, and I am doing it every week, with sweeping everyday!
I vacuum and sweep and mop, too often.
Sweep and Swiffer :). This would be awesome!
I clean my floors with a swiffer.
Cleaning the floors is definitely my least favorite chore ever!

I would so love to have the iRobot Scooba 390. I have bad allergies and I am not suppose to be in the house when the dusting and floor cleaning is going on but of course I am the one that usually has to do it. My husband did get me a few years ago the iRobot vaccum and I love it, I can just turn it on and let go. So, the iRobot Scooba 390 will go so perfect with my iRobot vaccum, talk about the perfect pair.

I dry vacuum my floors first and then use a Swiffer wet mop on my tile and a special hardwood spray cleaner and mop on my hardwood. It sure would be nice to have an iRobot to do it all for me!!
MOP 🙁 2 small kids!!
I have an automatic floor cleaner…my hubby 🙂
I use a Bissell steam mop but would love to just let iroomba do the work for me.
I clean using the vacuum and then a mop…so old school and so time consuming. I would love a iRobot Scooba 390!!
Wow oh wow, would this be a lifesaver!! With my back out right now it would be wonderful!! Thank you so much for this giveaway 🙂

I thought I was the only person who hated to mop! Now I feel better about putting the mopping off until we’re sticking to the floor. I just can’t find a mop that fits my hands. The iRobot Scooba 390 would be perfect.
