Earlier this week I shared the fabulous Nutella Gooey Butter Cake I made for my daughter to take to the dinner they had before their Homecoming dance.
Homecoming Dances and Prom are such a big deal these days. The girls are getting mani-pedis and fancy updo hairstyles, and don’t get me started on the dresses! Lucky for us, we have a fabulous hair stylist in the family!
Heather is the queen of updos at the salon where she works, and she was sweet enough to squeeze in her sister, and Allison’s best friend Abbey for some gorgeous Homecoming updo hair styles!
Having a sister who is a hair stylist can come in pretty handy!
Doesn’t she do great work? and yes, she’s VERY much appreciated!

Your daughters and their friend are absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for hosting, Cheryl.
Your daughter is very talented! I never understood how one does an undo!!! I think I remember the homecoming football games more than the dances! Hope they have a great time! Thanks for the party!
Thank you so much for hosting, Cheryl! Hope you have a great weekend!
I need to make my way out to STL to have Heather do my hair!! I’m dying for some highlights, but I haven’t had them in years and have never had anyone up here color my hair, so I’m scared!
Thanks for the great party! I hope you have a great Fall weekend, Cheryl. Your older daughter looks so much like you.
Thanks so much for hosting Cheryl!

Weird question, my daughter love’s your daughter’s dress, can I ask where you got it? Thanks! and love the hairstyles too!
Not a weird question at all! She got it at a store called Windsor.

Your girls are gorgeous!
Your daughter is so beautiful! Great hairdo’s too. What a great time in her life. I remember caring so much about how everything, the dress, how I looked. Begging my parents to rent a limo. Like we were little princesses!
Thanks for the party, I’ve linked up my Banana Puddings with Vanilla Wafer Crumble.
I hope you have a great weekend!

Big sisters are wonderful, especially when they are so talented 🙂 I adore Allison’s dress! Such a good choice!
Love the up do’s, wish I could do that with my hair! There are so many Fall & Halloween link ups, I love it! Thanks for hosting
Thanks for hosting. Definitely a plus have someone in the family to help out with the hair. My friend spent $150 for her daughter’s hair for prom last year! Both girls look fantastic hope they had a wonderful night making memories. Have a great weekend!
It certainly has become such a big deal these days. They sure look beautiful!!!!

Thanks for hosting Cheryl. Beautiful girls!
Hi Cheryl, thanks for hosting, enjoy your weekend 🙂
So sweet, I remember how much the hair is as important as the dress!
I remember my first Homecoming in the ’70’s…arg! A long, lace, up to the neck and long sleeves! It was $80, which was alot then! I LOVED it! Have a great weekend!
sheila
LOVE the updo’s! Something I regret about my wedding day, that I didn’t do an “up-do.” They girls look gorgeous! I went to homecoming twice, the first time, with a new boyfriend, and it was SO fun, the second time with a boy I d i dn’t know well, and we doubled with my best friend, and she and I ended up kinda chatting with each other all night while our dates were probably annoyed!
The updos are beautiful. Your daughter is very talented and all the girls (ladies) are so beautiful.
Your daughters are very pretty!!
So lucky to have a hairstylist in the family!
