Summertime = FRESH Corn on the Cob!!
We LOVE corn in our house!
Especially Corn on the Cob!
I have a quick easy way to fix it that doesn’t require a grill or heating up the kitchen.
How to Cook Corn on the Cob in the Microwave
You will need corn on the cob with the full husks on
Lay the cobs in the microwave, with husks on.
The corn cooks in it’s own moisture! It’s DELICIOUS!!
Cook on high
2 ears – 3 to 4 minutes
3 ears – 5 to 6 minutes
4 ears – 7 to 8 minutes
*my microwave plate turns, if yours doesn’t I would rotate or turn them over about 1/2 way thru cooking
Let them sit about 5 mins.
Remove husk, silk will come off easily with husks.
Season to taste and enjoy!!

I've never microwaved them in the husks, always cleaned them first then wrapped them in a damp paper towel and plastic wrap. I'll have to try them this way next time and save myself the trouble!
No way! My kids totally love corn on the cob and we have a microwave…so this is perfect for me. Easy and quick. Love it thanks!
Looks delish too.
Ha ha, this is great! My dad has actually told me several times to try this. He swears it is the best corn on the cob he has ever had!
Never done this! I'm going to try it! How easy and doesn't mess up a pan or grill!!!
Happy Tuesday

Wow! Never thought of that! I love how clean and fresh your blog looks too.
I have never heard of putting corn on cob in the microwave! That is a fantastic idea… I will definitely give this a try! 🙂
What a terrific idea -really quick for a single portion afterschool snack too! Thanks for posting this
Great tip, we usually husk them first, but I will have to try this.
I love fresh corn on the cob and have been enjoying it this season.
What a great idea! I can't wait to try it.
Hey, I've never tried micro corn before but now I will for sure! Veto is usually in charge of corn… being the self-proclaimed expert and all… he grew up in corn country and works out of Iowa now. If I mention this to him, I wonder if he will get all 'corn snob' on me and insist on doing it his old way!!!
What??? And I've been pulling off the tusks and putting them in water for the microwave!! Thanks for the tip. You saved me from having to wash a bowl:-)
I like to take this to a moister level~Soaking the corn~husk and all in cold water for at least one hour prior to zapping ~ makes for juicy corn~
