In 1999 my wonderful, funny, sweet, loving sister-in-law, was diagnosed with breast cancer. In June 2000 the whole family walked with her to support her fight at the St. Louis Race for the Cure. By March 2001 at 49 years old, Bobbie lost her battle with breast cancer. Every year since our family continues to walk in her memory.
I recently found out about another campaign that is raising significant awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. The Company Store is teaming up with the Avon Foundation for Women and the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer through the Comfort Crusade! Together they are going to raise money that will help advance access to quality breast health care, research towards prevention and understanding metastatic breast cancer, and ultimately… find a cure!!
Since its launch in 2003, the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer has raised more than $500 million through the dedication of more than 192,000 participating women and men from across the country.

My aunt has been battling breast cancer for almost three years. It’s been tough but she’s a strong woman and determined to beat it!!
My Aunt had Breast Cancer but decided to not disclose that information to us until she had fully recovered. As a result, I get my breast checked annually.
Thank you for supporting this cause. I like the mushroom color.
I am very fortunate to say breast cancer has not touched my life
One of my best friends has had breast cancer twice, and is currently in remission. She’s a fighter.
My roommates in collage mother had breast cancer and survived. She had one breast removed but is still beautiful as ever. Both my parents beat cancer but my brother and grandmother did not. Any chance i have i like to donate to cancer research. Thank you for this amazing giveaway.
Luckily I have lots of survivor friends!
My grandmother had it
Both my maternal grandmother and my paternal grandfather had breast cancer, but they both beat cancer’s butt! I am very lucky and very thankful I got to grow up with two sets of the most amazing grandparents. But having a family history of the disease on both sides, and one of them being male, definitely effects my risk factors, so despite my younger age, I try to be diligent about self-exams and always remind my doctor about my family history. You can never be too careful!!
I have two good friends who have survived breast cancer. They were both young, which is frightening! My one friend was 44 when she was diagnosed, and my other friend was only 28! 🙁 On a lighter note, they have pulled through and my second friend who was diagnosed just gave birth to a healthy baby boy (she’s cancer free 5 years now!)
A very close cousin of mine is a breast cancer survivor. We grew up together, she was in my wedding, and she is the mother of two young kids. She is a fighter!
I would like the Atlantic Blue LaCrosse Comforter

I love the spice but would probably go with a safe choice of blue! Thank you so much for helping out this wonderful cause.
A cousin fought breast cancer and lost a few years ago. I get my mammogram every year in her memory.

Persian or Atlantic Blue! They are both beautiful!
Fortunately, none of my family has had breast cancer, but I have lost many to different types of cancer, including my mother and sister. Cancer in any form is a devastating disease. Praying for a cure.
I really like the sugar plum!
I love the blue one!!
I lost my wonderful mother-in-law to breast cancer shortly after I was married… 35 years ago. I have missed having her as part of my life.
I had a dear aunt that was my other mother. She contracted an agressive breast cancer in 1985. She had both breasts removed and went through chemo. About two years later it returned in her chest wall. Again she had chemo and added radiation treatments. All went well for several years and she and I had the opportunity to do Breast Cancer Awareness Seminars together. I was a Radiologic Technologist and I specialized in mammography. We felt blessed to bring comfort and knowledge to other women in regards to breast cancer.
In 2007 the cancer returned and Auntie continued the fight with chemotherapy once again. The cancer went into remission for three years but returned in 2010 for it’s fourth and final time. My husband and I had the honor of caring for her and my uncle for the final four months of her amazing life. She fought hard and always gave God the glory for his healing power. Through the witness of her optimistic outlook, she was an encouragement to so many people going through challenges of their own.
I miss her greatly and feel so blessed to have had her in my life for 62 years.
I would enjoy a white comforter.
My cousin, who was also my best friend, died of Breast cancer after a 5 year struggle with the disease. I love the Lavender Comforter the best,
What a great giveaway! My great grandmother had breast cancer- long before they really could do much about it. I remember her struggle vividly from my childhood. I think about it all the time- especially since both my mothers-in-law fought it & my step mom. Cancer is an ugly thing.
My Mother-in-Law is a breast cancer survivor. She is a trooper and has kept such a great attitude about it. I have 2 girls and do worry that they will have to deal with this in the future.
I’d love the Atlantic Blue or the Spice comforter!

I would get blue! Luckily I know some great survivors!
My aunt battled breast cancer and won. My sister in law tested positive for the brca 2 gene and just underwent a double mastectomy.
A dear friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer in May. She’s had surgery, finished chemotherapy, and just started radiation. She’s doing well, but it’s been a long year for her. I also have lost another friend to breast cancer and have another one who is a 7 year survivor.
i would love the Deep Blue
So many of my friends and family members, including two of my aunts and my grandmother, have struggled with breast cancer, so yes, it is a cause important to me.
I would love the Atlantic Blue colored comforter! 🙂
Let’s hope that cancer becomes an obsolete word some day. Please enter me in your contest – I like the Mushroom Comforter.
I have a dear friend that battled breast cancer successfully approx 4 years ago and we are so thankful she is still with us today!
