A few of my personal favorite ways to use Baking Soda:
Clean combs and brushes
Keep your combs and brushes free of natural oil build-up and hair product residue by soaking combs and brushes in a solution of 1 teaspoon of ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda in a small basin of warm water. Rinse and allow to dry.
Bring Sour Sponges back to life
Soak stale-smelling sponges in a strong ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda solution to get rid of the mess and bring in the fresh (4 tablespoons of ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda dissolved in 1 quart of warm water).

I didn’t know that soaking smelly sponges in baking soda and water would sweeten and clean them. Great idea, thanks.
I sprinkle baking soda on my black glass cooktop and add a small amount of dish detergentand then wipe down to clean up after cooking. It leaves it clean and polished!
I use baking soda to clean out the dishwasher – add it to the bottom, a little vinegar, and run it empty!
I like to use baking soda to clean some grease stains on my husband’s shirt.

For years we have used baking soda and vinegar to keep the garbage disposal fresh smelling. Whenever I empty the box out of the fridge, I repurpose it by dumping it down the disposal along with a cup of white vinegar. In the summer when we eat a lot of cucumbers in vinegar, we repurpose the left-over vinegar by dumping it down the sink with baking soda as well. I haven’t used regular toothpaste in over 20 years and have not had any cavities since…all I do is brush with baking soda and I don’t need to use any teeth whiteners either. Love A&R products.
I think Tom might have said it all. I had gum surgery last week and I was told that post operative care was rinsing 1/4 tsp. baking soda with 1/4 tsp. of salt twice a day. now I am to do it reducing the salt only. when I see all the possibilities I wonder about what might be happening in my mouth – is this corrosive?
I recently learned that I could put it in the laundry to whiten my whites and to freshen my washing machine.

I use it as an exfoliating body scrub when I take a bath
I’ve always used a baking soda paste for bug bites. Works great!
I receive email updates from Cheryl… you’re the best!
I have used baking soda in my cars for over 20 years to keep them smelling clean and fresh inside. I place a disposable bowl full of baking soda under the driver’s and front passenger’s seats. Or, later when they began to have the boxes with the little “screen” that you expose, I place those under the seats of my cars. My cars always smell fresh and not “icky”.
I learned that you can use Baking Soda as Silver Polish

I always did use Baking Soda for bug bites, brushing teeth, cleaning kitchen and carpets, in the fridge, and even in the bath to sooth chicken pocks =)
I shared and subscribed every way you listed:)
I don’t have a new use for it but my favorite way to use it is to clean stains on my counter tops. I make a paste with baking soda & lemon juice, scrub the stain, let it sit a minute or two then rinse. Works every time.
