Today I’m sharing a beautifully styled casual Blue and Green Fall Tablescape. Plus 20+ other seasonal simplicity homes to inspire your own fall decor! To kick off this Fall season, I thought I’d do a little decorating without using the traditional orange, but instead, I chose deep blue, soft green, cream and a touch of pink! I have to say I love how it turned out!
A big thanks to Krista from The Happy Housie and April from House By Hoff who kindly invited me to be part the Seasonal Simplicity Fall Tour– there are 20+ others at the bottom of this post with beautiful fall homes to share as well! Be sure to take the time to click around and be inspired!
And just like that…..summer is over. I know you’ve heard me say it a thousand times before, but fall is my favorite season!! I’m sure I have plenty of company in the fall loving camp. Living in the midwest we get all four seasons, and fall is by far the easiest to deal with – generally mild temperatures, on the dry side for precipitation and the glorious fall colors!!
Yes, Spring can be pretty when everything is waking up from the winter, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the gorgeous fall foliage, the cool crispness that creeps into the air, the spectacular golden hour and all the gourds, corn stalks, wheat bundles and Indian corn you see on front porches. The last few days it’s been unusually warm here, in the 90’s but the leaves have started falling!!

Blue and Green Fall Tablescape with Touches of Pink
This year I was inspired by this blue and mauve tablescape at Craftberry Bush. I didn’t set out to decorate in the same colors, but I found myself at Michaels a few days later and I couldn’t help but to pick up many of the same florals Lucy used.
Totally not fall colors are they? But they work wonderfully for transitioning from summer into early fall.
As I wandered the aisles of Michaels, it all started to fall into place (pun intended lol). The green, blue and cream pumpkins found their way into my cart.
A turn down another aisle and I found the “friends” and “gather” dessert plates, farmhouse plates, burlap utensil holders, farmhouse towels and the little bowls. All perfect for a fall tablescape and entertaining with friends and family.
The little pink glasses I’ve had for years, and the runner is from Target.
The perfect fall harvest table for simple and elegant fall entertaining, serving pumpkin chili and Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Shooters for dessert, with a good bottle of Noble Pig wine.
I know the colors are not your typical fall colors but look how cozy they all look together!
I had picked up a few fresh eucalyptus bundles at Whole Foods a few days before. I just tossed them in a vase until I had time to decorate my fall mantel with them…….but I ended up loving them on the table in the vase!
I put the vase of eucalyptus, pumpkins and a small deer antler shed in a basket for my everyday centerpiece on the table.
When our temps start feeling more like autumn, and we get closer to Thanksgiving, I might switch some of it out for a little orange……..but for now I’m loving the soft non-traditional blue and green fall tablescape!
