Each week I host a linky party called I’m Lovin’ It, where bloggers link up their latest and greatest DIY projects, crafts, recipes, homemaking tips and more! Each Sunday I highlight a few of the great ideas that were linked up that week for I Spy Sunday. This week, was full of FRESH DIY Projects for SPRING!!
Wow, I can’t believe we are fully into April already! It’s a crazy busy time around our house. My daughter Allison and I traveled to San Francisco last week to visit with the wonderful people at Stitch Fix (I’ll be sharing more next week!). This weekend was prom, so we spent a few evenings up at the school getting the gym ready, and I made 200 oreo cake truffles! When this post goes up, it will all be over, but right now I’m enjoying listening to Allison and her friends getting ready, while Heather does their hair and make up…….having a sister/daughter who’s a hair stylist comes in handy during time like this! Parents are invited to the first part of the prom, where the entire class is announced one by one before announcing prom king and queen. Then there are two songs played to dance with your parents, and the parents then go home while kids enjoy the rest of the night. It’s hard to believe in a few short weeks her senior year will be all over.
Mother Nature has definitely made it clear that spring has arrived in the midwest by way of some wicked storms last week. But, fortunately this week there were many bright and fresh Spring Projects linked up to the party! Bring on the sunshine and warmer temperatures!
