I am over the top excited (and humbled) to say I was chosen to be a Whirlpool Mom!
Do you know we have been married 25 years and have never owned a brand new washer and dryer?……….my current set was handed down from my mom, after she acquired it when my grandma passed away. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed and not quite sure what to do with my self when these awesome Whirlpool delivery men showed up to install my new Duet Washer and Dryer!
I’ve been using them for 2 weeks now, and you gotta know I’m LOVIN’ them!! These beauties even SING to me when I turn them on! My favorite feature, so far, is the fan fresh option. This option allows your wet clothes in the washer to say fresh if you can’t get them in the dryer right away. No more rewashing or worse………stinky clothes! I just click the fan fresh button when I start a load, and The Whirlpool Duet washer’s FanFresh option intermittently tumbles clothes in the wash drum for up to 16 hours after the cycle ends. Meanwhile, a quiet fan draws out moisture through a vent to help keep clothes smelling fresh and prevents wrinkles from setting in.
And just so I will be fully equipped to tell you EVERYTHING about them, while you are reading this post, I am actually in Michigan staying at The Real Whirled House! (something that’s usually only available to Whirlpool employees) How cool is THAT! I get to live breath and eat Whirlpool for three days!!………LOVIN’ IT!!

Wow…I never knew there was a “Whirl” house…too funny! Be sure to pick up some tips on how to keep the seals around the doors clean…it’s the only thing my mom complains about with her pair. I have front loading washer/dryer and I sort of miss top loading. However, those are beautiful…if you can really say that about a washer and dryer.

that “fan fresh” option is brilliant! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to wash clothes twice after forgetting about them! hope you had a FABULOUS time!
cheryl- darn I was hoping it was a washer/dryer giveaway. our washer and dryer are as old as our daughter.. 17 years. They are white. They still work and i have a laundry list of items I want/need before I buy the washer/dryer (no pun intended).
I was at home depot and thinking I may just paint them orange and black for halloween this October.. sounds like a post!

Terry and I bought this pair a few years ago but sent them back on the first day… I always dreamed of owning a front-loading washer and they look SO cool! However, they took FOREVER (compared to washers of the past) to do a load! Who has an hour+ to wait for one load finish? We sent them back, (Lowe’s is great that way) and I went back to a regular washer/dryer set – the Whirlpool Cabrio – I learned that the new HE washers just take longer than the old kind do. 🙁 It also took a while to get used to not being able to just lift the lid to add stuff… Things are just too fancy for me these days – Ha!
