I’m Lovin’ It – Cupcake Carriers

You all know I love to bake, and one of my favorite things to make is cupcakes.

I often make them by tweaking a box mix for the perfect cupcakes from a mix.

I’ve received numerous emails asking how I transport cupcakes……..so today, I thought I’d share the two cupcake carriers I have and love!

My first carrier was this Wilton 3-In-1 Cupcake Caddy and Carrier

wilton cupcake carrier

What I love about this carrier is

  • it holds 12 standard size cupcakes
  • it holds 24 mini cupcakes
  • it holds a 9×13 cake

So it’s very versatile, easy to carry and has 4-locks, so you never have to worry about it coming open.

The only down side……..it only holds 12 cupcakes! lol

My next carrier was a dream come true when you want to transport more than 12 cupcakes,  The Cupcake Courier.

This beauty comes in several colors, it’s functional  and sturdy!

You walk into a party with this……..and people know you are serious about your cupcakes!!

  • holds 12-36 cupcakes
  • holds 9×13 cake
  • cups are nice and deep
  • enough room between the trays for tall icing

I’m Lovin’ my cupcake carriers!!

I got my cupcake carrier from the Container Store and love it! I used to buy boxes from the bakery when I needed to take cupcakes somewhere and the frosting would get all over the place!

I have a carrier similar to the second one pictured. I love it!!!! My mom gave it to me as a gift. I was so excited when I got it! :) It’s also nice just to store cupcakes in at home. They stay nice and fresh and the frosting doesn’t get messed up.

I have the Wilton 3-in-1. It works great and is handy to have, but it is awfully big and bulky for something that only holds 12 cupcakes. Thanks for posting about the Cupcake Courier. I think I know what I’m asking for this year for my birthday!

I love the large cupcake carrier, so practical as who really just takes only a dozen cupcakes anywhere! Thanks for the link-up again this week Cheryl and hope you are having a wonderful time at Blissdom!

I too started with the wilton carrier but it just didn’t accomodate enough for larger celebrations and I hated that the wells for the cupcakes weren’t very deep – cupcakes can very easily tip over in that if not careful.
Sometime in the last year I got the three tier cupcake courier and love it! It’s so perfect. Even if you don’t use all of the tiers for cupcakes you can stack other things. I’ve used it for pie too. Very handy.

I’ve got the Cupcake Courier, too, and I’ve used it for cupcakes, pies (as long as they’re not too high!), and cakes galore! I’ve even done a combination of a round cake and cupcakes, LOL! I most recently needed to transport minicupcakes (fortunately there were a TON of them), and just put a foil covered piece of thin cardboard over the empty wells and I packed them in so they wouldn’t move!

I need a cupcake carrier very badly!! I keep eyeing them, but haven’t purchased. Yet!
