I’m Lovin’ It- Napa, CA and Cooking at the CIA

Last week I was treated to an INCREDIBLE experience cooking, eating and learning at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, as a part of the Bush’s Beans Flavors from Around the World event with Connie Guttersen, Daisy Martinez, Jeffrey Saad and Michael Schulson
It was an experience I will not soon forget.
Bush’s Beans sponsored me and 7 other wonderful bloggers (She Wears Many Hats, Mommy’s Kitchen, Dine and Dish,Real Mom Kitchen, Reluctant Entertainer, Good Life {eats}, and Aggie’s Kitchen, ) to an amazing time at the Meadowood in St. Helena, and then to a full day of cooking AND eating at the CIA.
I’ll tell you, I experienced so many new flavors, learned so many new tips and techniques from all the chefs that I could NOT wait to get home and start cooking. I think my family is getting a little tired of hearing what all I learned!
For today……..I’m going to share some pictures from the trip and over the course of the next few weeks, I will share recipes, techniques and much more!
We watched as each of the four chefs demonstrated techniques and their recipes.
We learned new techniques
We cooked
we ate and we connected.
BOY did we eat and drink……I don’t think I have ever eaten so much in such a short time…..all such amazing food! I can’t WAIT to share recipes, tips and more!
I’m Lovin’ (and missing)…………………
My Bush’s Beans family and friends
Thanks again to the wonderful people at Bush’s Beans and Edelman for such an amazing time.
They were also so kind as to have a wonderful photographer there the day we cooked, so we didn’t have to cook with our cameras! The first photo in this post is from my camera…….but ALL of the rest of the shot’s were from the very talented Faith Echtermeyer
Now it’s your turn!

Oh what fun!!! My husband and I took a class in that very kitchen one year when we were on vacation. We learned to make yellow tomato gaspacho. So glad you had the opportunity to go to the CIA!
