We are ALL amazing! Did you know that part of being amazing means we need to take care of our bodies, and that starts with taking care of our heart!
We as parents are all too aware that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we can take care of our heart by eating a “heart healthy” breakfast. Breakfast has always been my favorite meal of the day, and nothing beats a quick and easy bowl of Quaker Oatmeal, it sets the tone for the rest of the day. I like to mix in a little peanut butter or top with some fruit and if I have a little extra time my family loves Baked Peanut Butter Oatmeal.
Eating right, exercise and education—are key steps to taking care of your heart.
Get a good breakfast. Every day.
Get enough rest.
Get regular exercise.
Find more time to enjoy life.
Maintain a positive attitude.
You’re never to old or to young to start taking care of your heart. February is American Heart Month and Quaker is celebrating by donating $1.00 to the American Heart Association for each current Facebook fan and every new person who “likes” the Quaker Facebook Page during the month of February (up to $250,000). The money donated by Quaker will benefit the AHA’s new program My Heart. My Life, which helps bring healthy cooking curriculum to after-school organizations across the country! In addition, Quaker will donate $1, (up to $125,000), for each new Facebook “like.”

I just love oatmeal just the way it is. Hot, in a bowl, with a little skim milk, cinnamin and raisins. Yum!
I “like” Quaker on FB.
With brown sugar and lots of raisins!
I “Like” Quaker on Facebook and I eat it almost every morning. I love to put Craisins in mine! 🙂
I keep a box of quaker oats at my desk and eat them for breakfast. It’s nice to have that warm bowl as I wait for my computer to turn on and pull up my important apps for the day. I sometimes eat one for a snack in the late afternoon when I feel the hunger pains, but know dinner is far off.
I put raisens in the water when I make the oatmeal to sweeten it a little and then add cinnamon to the top when finished.
I love the oatmeal in their Vanishing Oatmeal Cookie recipe found on the lid of the oatmeal container. Awesome for breakfast, lunch or a snack!
I follow Quaker & love to have plain oatmeal with a dash of splenda and brown sugar..with a tall glass of milk! Thanks Tidy Mom & Quaker Oatmeal!
I have made cookies using quaker oats and also add in my morning breakfast cereal…thanks for this giveaway…
I eat oatmeal every morning for breakfast, My new Fav Is steel cut oats. They are chewy, but I also love creamy old fashion oats.
I cook them as directed, usually a cup of oats to 3 cups water. After it is cooked, I add a tablespoon of margerine. 1/4 cup brown suger, Stir to combine. Then I add a half cup of Almond Milk, but you can use any kind of milk. I then either add frzn blueberries, before the milk, about a cup. they hot oatmeal defrosts the berries. But Also I will add dried cherries, blueberries, and cranberries. Yum.
I’m not here for the giveaway. Just to read you. I think you are so clearly a great mom – and that makes God smile I’m sure.
I eat mine straight up – but with milk and water – and 4 tons of sugar.
God Bless
I love Quaker oats! Especially with bananas and some maple syrup!
I like to eat my oatmeal with a little milk, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a spoonful of brown sugar. Or nix that whole thing for some maple syrup!

I actually have two ways I like to eat this, I can eat it right from the box. Just open it up and dig right in. The second way is to put it on top of my hot bowl of Quaker Oatmeal. Love the texture and crunch it gives each bite.
