So this week, I have a combo of things I’m loving! And I have one of them to giveaway to one lucky reader….so read on….
I’m loving my new purse I got while visiting Branson and the Coach Factory store. I was sold, the minute I saw the color.
Next up……my new iPhone 4! How did I ever live with out an iPhone? lol I knew I would love it, but I didn’t know how MUCH I’d love it. I’m able to stay connected and get work done when I’m away from home.
Some of my favorite apps right now (aside from facebook, skype and Hootsuite ):
- Dragon Dictation – Thanks to Kristen for reminding about this gem! You can speak/voice record text messages, Facebook status updates and tweets and Dragaon Dictation will type it out for you! OH SO COOL! and the best part…it’s FREE!
- Words with Friends – it’s like playing scrabble with your friends. (if you send me a request, I’m kind of slow at playing, so just know a game may last days and weeks with me lol)
- Camera+ – will make your iPhone camera work like a SLR. $1.99 well spent if you’re serious about your pictures.
- Instagram – makes mobile photography social. You can follow your friends, they can follow you and comment on your pictures. You can also instantly send to Facebook and Twitter at the same time.
My only “dislike” with my iPhone (as with many people) – is the auto correct feature when typing. It seems to be more of a hindrance than helpful. I have a bit of advice on this topic………….
READ what’s typed before you hit send………..
because just when you *THINK* you typed and posted to Facebook a list of what you are doing like “SDC on Sunday” (meaning Silver Dollar City)…….
You may have typed…..
(click to read my comment after my status)
YES…………I REALLY did that!
and just so you know…..you can NOT delete on Facebook from your iPhone! Thank goodness my oldest daughter was home to remove it for me……after snapping a picture of the screen first! THANKS honey! lol
***UPDATE – I love my readers!!! I’ve since learned you CAN delete on FB from your phone!! for those who didn’t know, like me, you just swipe your finger across the message you want to delete and a red delete button will appear!!!! ~thanks to everyone who let me know about this!! #lifesaver
And last but not least………….my new favorite thing for both my iPhone AND my purse!
I’m in LOOOVE with my iGo Charge Anywhere!
iGo Charge Anywhere
from iGo.com
As with most cell phones, I think we all worry about running out of battery, and worse yet running out when you have no access to electricity or a car charger. In the summer time especially………we’ll run to the pool, and I realized my phone is almost out of battery, or spend the day at Six Flags or on vacation taking lots of pictures, tweeting and facebooking will run my battery down in no time.
The iGo Charge Anywhere is a portable charger that you can carry with you so you will never have a dead battery again! Charge plugged and unplugged! During use as a wall charger, the internal battery recharges and is ready to provide power to your gadgets when away from outlets. Charge on the go, at the beach, on a boat, in the air – charge anywhere! The Charge Anywhere comes with a 6 foot USB cable and you purchase the tips that fit each of your devices, so you don’t need a new charger even if you get a new phone, just order a new tip.
iGo Charge Anywhere features:
- Small enough to fit in a purse or pocket.
- 2 USB ports to simultaneously charge 2 devices
- Works with many devices including smart phones, bluetooth headsets, MP3 players, digital cameras, GPS devices and more
- 6 foot USB cable
- No need to buy new charger when upgrading devices
- Works worldwide (do not need a voltage converter)
- The iGo Charge Anywhere retails for $39.99 which includes 1 free tip when purchased online.
You can use the code Twitter10 and receive 10% all orders (no expiration)
This wall charger with an integrated battery provides peace of mind to deliver power anytime, anywhere! The iGo Charge Anywhere can provide up to three full charges to most mobile devices while away from an outlet before it needs to be replenished.

Oh, I just love that blue Coach bag. Suddenly I have this urge to go shopping!
And, I had to laugh at the iPhone auto correct issues… I have definitely had my share, too. It always changes my name from Jen to Ken, and my mother was a bit confused when she got an email signed “Love, Ken” (which happens to be my dad’s brother’s name)!
I would love iGo Charger because when our family travels we take a bag just for chargers: 3 chargers for phones, 4 chargers for iTouches/mp3 players, 2 chargers for cameras and one for the GPS. This would make packing so much easier!
I forgot to mention that I follow @TidyMom on Twitter. I’m @WhatTheBucc
I subscribe to Tidy Mom via email.
I’d love a charger I could take anywhere, I’m always using the gps on my phone and its a huge battery drain.
Couldn’t stop laughing about your facebook post.
I love the the “dragon” I have it installed on my iPad and computer too:)
I subscribed to your feed.
I feel like I’m constantly scrambling for places to charge my iPhone on the go. It would be awesome to have this to use instead!
I just tweeted the contest.
I would love that charger too 🙂 My battery is always running low. I travel a lot for work and look up directions, email, etc. This charger would be so handy!!

Shared on Facebook about this awesome giveaway!
And now I subscribed to email blasts! I get your blogs everyday! YAY!
So, I did all the linking and pasting and even started a twitter account, then realised it was for US only! Oh well. 🙂 Happy Canada Day anyway!
I didn’t even know these existed! Genius. I have a bad habit of waiting until my phone is dead before charging it, like going to the gas station only after the light goes on…
I would love to win the iGo for peace of mind. One of my worst nightmares is that I get stranded with my kids in the middle of nowhere and a dead cellphone. Having this I will feel a bit safer going out.
LOL, that’s hilarious!!
Hi Cheryl!! I am so glad that you have an iPhone! I remember when you asked about it on Twitter, I knew you would love it!!!
I would love the iGo Anywhere charger, had no idea this even existed!! I would love for days I am in the office and my iphone battery dies. Nothing worse than that happening!!

As a working mom with a mild iphone addiction and an 8 year old who can use it better than she can (haha) I need the igo! how awesome!
also if you like word with friends, you should check out Hanging with Friends. It is my new addiction.
my iphone is always in use! i just moved to a new city and i use it as a gps too! a lot of the time, i am in a rush and i’m in the car before i realize it’s almost dead! ugh!!! my griffin car charger died, too! i’d love an iGo! now, my boyfriend won’t be waiting on me and worried to get home when he can’t get in touch with me! plus, i always get lost! haha!
Oooh…I need this…because I’m always forgetting to charge things at home. Thanks for chance to win.

Would love to have one of these, since my phone’s battery barely makes it through the day!
I shared the giveaway on Facebook. (Susan Brown Hatcher)
seriously, the BEST AUTOCORRECT EVER!!!! the prof and i DIED when it happened!!!
I would love this for both my Blackberry (haven’t upgraded to an i-Phone yet!) and my Kindle. Thanks for the chance!
I would love to win the iGo. What a great idea. I am never around my cord or outlet when my phone dies. It is so cool!
I love the charger. I always run my phone down playing Bejewelled. 🙂
I would absolutely LOVE to have this charger!!! I’m always on Facebook and constantly texting and taking pictures, so my battery drains very easily. I never realized this since I’m usually at home near my [iPhone4] charger, until I recently went on a roadtrip from southern California to Seattle, WA. Now that I see this brilliant invention, I wish I would’ve got it sooner lol! :-p

I want this as I am on my iphone all the time and around 3pm many days I need a boost!
I reposted on my facebook too!
I am also a subscriber, thanks!
This would be perfect for my iPod. It’s always losing charge when I don’t have the cord.

I would LOVE to have this charger b/c it seems I am always running on a low battery. With an 8 y.o., a 2 y.o., & a hubby, I guess the phone being charged doesn’t always take priority. Can anyone else relate? 🙂
I would LOVE to have this charger as I do many art and craft festivals and rely on my iphone and/or ipad to swipe credit card payments and due to the long days of the shows, my battery runs down and I have to run to the car several times a day (which isn’t always that easy to grab a quick break!) to recharge! ARGHH, frustrating!
I just started following you on facebook and I’m hooked!!
My battery is always low. iGo was a great invention.
I would send it to our son who is deployed overseas, anything to make it easier for him to call his beautiful wife and daughter. God Bless our men and women serving our great country!
