I’m loving my new purse I got while visiting Branson and the Coach Factory store. I was sold, the minute I saw the color.
Next up……my new iPhone 4! How did I ever live with out an iPhone? lol I knew I would love it, but I didn’t know how MUCH I’d love it. I’m able to stay connected and get work done when I’m away from home.
Some of my favorite apps right now (aside from facebook, skype and Hootsuite ):

- Words with Friends – it’s like playing scrabble with your friends. (if you send me a request, I’m kind of slow at playing, so just know a game may last days and weeks with me lol)
- Camera+ – will make your iPhone camera work like a SLR. $1.99 well spent if you’re serious about your pictures.
- Instagram – makes mobile photography social. You can follow your friends, they can follow you and comment on your pictures. You can also instantly send to Facebook and Twitter at the same time.
My only “dislike” with my iPhone (as with many people) – is the auto correct feature when typing. It seems to be more of a hindrance than helpful. I have a bit of advice on this topic………….

and just so you know…..you can NOT delete on Facebook from your iPhone! Thank goodness my oldest daughter was home to remove it for me……after snapping a picture of the screen first! THANKS honey! lol
***UPDATE – I love my readers!!! I’ve since learned you CAN delete on FB from your phone!! for those who didn’t know, like me, you just swipe your finger across the message you want to delete and a red delete button will appear!!!! ~thanks to everyone who let me know about this!! #lifesaver

I would love to win this. I can’t tell you how many times my iPhone has gotten down to less than 5% battery. I substitute teach and use my phone a lot to correspond with the teacher I am subbing for, I also have four children that love to play games on my phone and leave it almost dead. I am crossing my fingers that I win!!

I forgot to bring my charger with me this week when I came on a trip to babysit my only grandson. I remembered last week but obviously I really need a charger that I can carry with me. This blog entry popped up just when I needed to see it. I really hope to win.

Omg, that the coolest thing! I would LOVE one of these because I have the same problem as you – I find that my smartphone battery dies quickly, especially when I’m updating Twitter or using email a lot. Recently I’ve become more paranoid that it will die while I’m out and I’ll need it before I can get home to recharge it. This would make my life much easier!

I would absolutely LOVE one of the iGo Chargers!!! I’m a commuting college student, and sometimes it is really hard to find an available outlet to plug in my iPhone to charge. And if I do find an outlet, sometimes I don’t have enough time to do get a decent charge between class times. Trust me, it is not fun being on an NYC bus at 9:30 at night with only 10% of battery power remaining till you get home! Owning an iGo would definitely make it MUCH more convenient for me to get a full charge while I’m on campus, or out doing clincals. Thanks TidyMom!

I am already a follower. If I win this prize I will give it to my husband, who works on a jobsite. So often he is grabbing my charger because his phone is going to go dead while he is at work and his is upstairs. I, personally, carry a second battery for emergencies. It is sometimes hard for him to get an outlet to charge his phone too so this would solve a multitude of problems. Thanks so much.

i loved your post!!! that’s funny . . . I am able to delete my own status on facebook . . . while i’m in the screen, i simply slide to the right on the particular thing i’m going to delete and it gives me a little red box that says ‘delete’ and i can delete just about anything, fb entries, texts, emails, and contacts. should work for yours.
you can also change your settings by turning off your spell check . . . sorry if someone else wrote this too . . . i had the same problem with the iphone deciding what words i wanted to text. (:

I love my iPhone too! But I let my kids play games on it when we’re out (restaurants/shopping/etc) to keep them occupied and it wears down the battery quickly. This would be great to have! (p.s. – LOVE your purse. I recently bought a turq. purse too. But my sure ain’t Coach! LOL)

I would have LOL’ed along with those people and said “Oh, that IS funny, why would I include that on my schedule? That’s a given.”
I’d LOVE an iGo Charge. Fiancé and I live in Columbia, MO, but he’s from Kirkwood, MO (2 hours away) and I’m from the Springfield, MO area (4 hours away) and without fail, every single icy Christmas I find myself with a dead cell phone.
I also just got my very first smart phone YESTERDAY! Lovin’ it. First thing I did? Download Angry Birds and Words with Friends. I play on the iPad all the time, so I had to add them to my phone!
I would love to win this for my husband because he forgets, often, to charge his phone and I have a hard time getting a hold of him…not going to be pretty in Oct. when baby #3 is due and I can’t call him to tell him I’m in labor! 🙂

I boycotted the iPhone for the longest time. I thought it was for those who “just had to have the newest gadget”. My Blackberry stopped charging and I had to get a new phone, and my broke down and got the iPhone. I am in LOVE with my iPhone. I use it all the time! I use it so much that I have to charge it all the time, which isn’t a problem during the week at work, but come the weekend when I’m out and about, it loses power fast…and this is why I would love to try the iGo Charger!

My phone’s battery life is a joke. If I want to be able to use my phone for more than a few mins here or there, I need this product! I have 2 young kids, so I’d love to be able to take and post pics to share on Facebook right on the spot, rather than having to wait until I get home to plug in and post from my laptop. It’s a PAIN!
