Fair Trade Month: I’m Lovin’ It

Did you know that October is National Fair Trade month?

Not sure what Fair Trade is? Fair Trade means that farmers and workers are justly compensated for their harvest, allowing them to invest back into their farms and communities.  By establishing Fair Trade prices farmers are able to practice sustainable growing techniques and are supported in learning new skills that will preserve their land for generations to come and create safe working conditions .  It means helping workers and helping families improve their standard of living, keep their kids in school, and strengthen their local communities and economies.
