My husband and I recently started supporting a missionary family going to Thailand. We are excited that they will be a part of God’s work there.
My mom got out of the hospital on new years day. I am taking care of her from early morning till her husband gets home at night. I love my mom. Plus while my mom naps i am knitting an afghan for my new neighbor. I get on cloud 9 from doing nice things for people.
When my out-of-state bestie was pregnant and miserable, I washed and organized all the baby clothes, hung the curtain for the nursery and tried to help her get a grip on all the baby stuff that was overwhelming her as a first time mommy. I flew to see her as a mini-vacation and worked while she rested. What a blessing for me.
Our family serves as therapeutic foster parents to children who have suffered abuse at the hands of their biological parents. This is a “whole life” ministry in that it is 24/7 and 365. We have done this for about 30 years and the stories are getting worse all the time. More christian homes are needed for children in foster care.
We helped a young man we just met who was coming to our area for school. We helped him find a place to live, get him settled etc. We now consider him a part of our family.
My sister has adopted two kiddos from Korea, on their last trip I was able to send a ton of baby clothes (mostly premie and newborn sizes that they need badly). It was awesome to able to share with the adoption agency.
Two years ago on the 4th, we lost our oldest son in a car accident. Recently a dear friend of mine and her little girl were in an accident as well. Praise God they made it through and are both recovering well. Cathy is a single mom and her car was totaled. We were given a car after our accident from a friend from church, we now gifted the car to Cathy and Mikahla. It was nice to be able to help and to regift a blessing that we had received during such a difficult time.

My husband and I recently traveled to Honduras on a short-term missions trip. It was an amazing experience. I almost hesitate to put it down as something “I did for someone else” because even though we were there to deliver food and clothes to poverty stricken people, I feel they did more for me than I for them. We learned so much about happiness in the midst of trials and it completely changed our lives.
Yearly my family organizes a 5k run to help families in our area that have been diagnosised with a terminal illness.
I love those bracelets! I’m letting my husband watch football all day today and not complaining about it, that’s nice, right?
I shoveled my neighbor’s walk earlier today.
I work for a company that is all about giving back to the community. I always try to participate when I can. Recently we did a food drive for a local Samaritan house that feeds the hungry and a backpack program for local school children.
Part of our New Years resolution was to eat better.Because my cupboards were full we purged everything and took it to our local food bank. It made us feel good to donate and not just at the holidays like we mostly do.We set a side an amount that we will spend each week on food to donate.
We went out to dinner on new year’s eve and secretly paid the bill for the table next to us. It felt great to start the new year off generously.
I love being able to help my husband – he takes such good care of us, and I like when I can find ways to make his life easier.
I like to think that I am a helpful giving person but when push came to shove I had a hard time coming up with something. Guess I better up my game! Today I did support a little neighbor girl’s softball team with their fundraiser. It’s a stretch but it’s something little…

I’ve been trying to do something kind each day. Today I invited a couple over for supper.
I paid for the order in the car behind me at Starbucks this morning. Pay it forward!
I work with an organization that helps university bands – we’ve hosted a local girl scout day, helped distribute uniforms and water to the band, raised money to commission a new musical work and more.
I helped my 10 year old daughter set up her booth for a craft fair she did and she donated part of her proceeds to the Humane Society. I also helped a good friend of mine through a very difficult time in her life with the loss of a child.
I usually try to go out of my way to help everyone with anything they need

I saw the picture of your bracelet through Instagram late at night a while ago. I have three kids and two small businesses I am trying to run. I had had a particularly trying day with my 20 year old. It was about 2:00 am when I ran across the picture of your bracelet on Instagram. I looked up the website and started browsing through their items. I love what the company stands for and am always happy to help out where I can. I found their scripture verse bracelets. They had my verse Proverbs 3: 5-6. I knew I needed that bracelet to get me through this upcoming year as a reminder to trust God in everything that happens. I LOVE IT! So thanks for being there at 2 am 🙂

I love baking and crafting. I combine the two and bless other. I especially like to hand out goodies on a regular basis to my kids’ teachers and support staff. It’s so fun to bless others with an unexpected surprise!
