It’s been a lot of fun receiving a package each month from Arm & Hammer. This month’s package was bitter sweet. I was thrilled to open it and find Arm & Hammer Essential Fabric Softener Sheets, yet on the same hand I was sad that’s it was my last package as part of the Switch & Save Challenge.
You know laundry has been a big thing on my mind lately, so this was perfect timing.
I don’t think I even realized that Arm & Hammer made dryer sheets. Not sure where my head had been in the laundry aisle! So, I was fascinated to give them a shot.
I want laundry products that are effective and healthy for my family and the environment. But, let’s face it……. they also need to be affordable. Price plays a BIG factor for me.
Knowing that Arm & Hammer was a brand that I trust and is affordable, I was pleasantly surprised when I looked over the box and read:
“Naturally Derived Softeners” and “Biodegradable Softening Agents”
and better yet……..The box was even made from 100% Recycled Paperboard
We were off to a good start, and I hadn’t even USED the softener sheets yet!
After using the Arm & Hammer Essential Fabric Softener Sheets on several loads, I have tos ay that our clothes were soft and had no trace of static cling. When you open the box, the Lavender & Linen scent is pretty strong, so I was a little worried it would be too much for my husbands picky nose. BUT, I was please to discover when I pulled the clothes from the dryer the scent was light and not over powering. But what I REALLY loved was the way they leave a delicate and dreamy scent of lavender behind on our sheets and blankets, making getting into bed each night a real treat. All in all, I’m very happy with this switch and save!
I’m not saying this product is 100% green, but if you are trying to make strides towards natural products, and watching your pocketbook at the same time, then I think you may want to give these a try!
Stay tuned because I’ll be giving away more gift cards in the next few weeks so you can have the chance to switch and save as well!

I gotta tell ya… knowing that they are trying to be more earth conscience would make me more interested in trying their product. I try to do the best I can at being green, and these would make me feel lots better!! Thanks for the great recommendation as always Cheryl!
I’m in for the lavender. I can’t get enough of that scent!

I actually picked up a box of these while in the grocery store this week. With prices of everything going up and the pay check being less I shop very conservative so that is why I chose them. I was amazed. Clothes were so fresh smelling and no static and did just as well as the other brands that I had chosen in the past. I will be using these from now on! Kudos to Arm and Hammer! I have not tried their washing powders but may. I am real sensitive to detergents so I have to be really careful. I might see if I can buy a really small box.. I know you love doing these challenges with different companies. I think I would LOVE that. Enjoy your blogs!
I had no idea either that Arm & Hammer made dryer sheets. Maybe they need to do more advertising. I use bounce sheets and have loved them for years. How do the A/H compare? We get our new washer and dryer installed on Friday. Do you think it’s worth it to make the switch? I will check them at the store. Thanks for the great info.
I use everything arm n hammer. i use the detergent, dryer sheets, and shower cleaner. I cannot say enough about this very underestimated product line. very cheap and works great. i would never switch back. very happy to see others getting on board due to your blog
I didn’t know they made dryer sheets! I stopped using dryer sheets years ago, but I’m going to keep my eye out for these at the store.
