I love stencils! When we were first married I stenciled everything I could get my hands on, the walls, stairs, lampshades, and all sorts of small craft projects. I’m so excited to see how much stenciling is coming back in style, especially for home decor!
Stencils are a great way to decorate on a budget! They don’t require a lot of time or money to make a big impact in your room.

It’s a toss up – either I’d love to stencil my powder room or my laundry room. Either way, I think they would both be fabulous!
I currently have stenciling in my bedroom — but I want to paint and change the colors — so a new stencil pattern would be awesome!
I would stencil some pillows for my sofa, for different seasons. Then I would use thick textured acrylic medium , apply to a stencil, wait a few minutes then lift stencil off wall carefully and bingo ! I will have a textured design, beautiful! Looks great same color as the wall…..
