I take a ton of pictures of my family, but I’m not always great about displaying them in my home. A few weeks ago, blogging friend Amanda Formaro, told me how she’s been doing something really cool with pictures.
Amanda has been using scrap pieces of wood and Mod Podge to create beautiful Portraits on Wood. She made a whole collage of family portraits for her home, and even shared a tutorial on how to decoupage family photos on wood so you can make them yourself!
Amanda’s Portraits on Wood were such a big hit, she has started offering the custom portraits for sale ! So if you aren’t that crafty, you can send Amanda your photo either via snail mail, or send her the digital file , tell her what color you’d like, and she will send you your Custom Portrait on Wood to preserve those special memories in your home! How simple is THAT?!
Take a look at what she did with this picture I took of my girls a few months ago.

I just love it! and right now it’s perfect hanging in our bedroom!
Be sure to glance thru Amanda’s portfolio! She’s done portraits for Maria, Heather and Amy and more!
What kind of fun things have you done with photos that are out of the ordinary?
