Wow I just don’t know where the time goes………
Our youngest started HIGH SCHOOL last week! Seriously…How did THAT happen?
Our oldest has been out of school for 4 years and will be making an exciting job change soon (she’s a hair stylist)……..she will be renting her own space at a brand new salon and spa! She will be a “business owner”.
Life moves SO fast sometimes………we need to remind our selves and our children, who always want to “grow up” so fast……to SLOW DOWN stop rushing thru life and appreciate the moments that you have now!
Starting high school can be scary, and they all want to be “18 and out of school”……but I want to remind her and her friends “THESE are the BEST years” DON’T RUSH them……..ENJOY them!! {sniff sniff}
That’s why I LOOOOVE this Trace Adkins song……
You’re gonna Miss This

Before you know it your new high school student may be off to college! Wonderful news about your oldest starting up her business in the new spa. Exciting times for all of you. Wonderful links in this post Cheryl. My two have been out of school for years now and I kinda wish all these ideas and information were available to me when they were still attending. Such fun!
I agree Paula!! Certainly is a “fun” time to be a mom of little ones right now!
My son started pre-K..I was more nervous than him! I have a 2 year old daughter, so it’s nice to have alone time with her 🙂
I had a ‘back to school’ party and I plan to have one every year.
Here’s a link to part of the bash.

Great school post, Cheryl! Wonderful ideas and was just plain fun. As a homeschooler my kids miss out on some of those extra-special things, but I want to find a way to tie them in for them this year.
My oldest starts high school this Wednesday and my youngest starts middle school. I can’t believe how fast time flies! It seems like just yesterday I had a baby on my hip and a boy in preschool!
