Hey, friends! It’ me again, Kelly from Live Laugh Rowe. It’s been awhile since I’ve hung out with all of you, but I’m tickled silly to be here today while Cheryl is out sailing the ocean blue. One of my favorite non-official holidays is Valentine’s Day. I love all the red and pink, hearts and sweet treats. I also love getting a little creative with my gift packaging, so I thought I would share some Printable Valentine Gift Tags.
There are four fun printable valentine gift tags for you to use — and the best part is that all you really have to do is print, cut and punch a hole! Score.
Here are few supplies that will come in handy.
Supplies for DIY Printable Valentine Gift Tags:
Cardstock (white or colors of choice)
Reinforcement Stickers
Glassine Bags (optional)
Hole Puncher
Bakers Twine or Twine
Washi Tape
Scissors or Paper Cutter
The first thing you’ll want to do is print the valentine gift tags and cut them out. You’ll then want to punch a hole where you’ll attach your twine for stringing. I like to use reinforcement stickers so that there aren’t any tears around the hole. You’ll then want to use your bakers twine, ribbon or yarn to create a string for your printable Valentine gift tag. That’s it!
I tend to use my gift tags much differently than the traditional way, which is simply tying it to a package or bag. First and foremost I love to use kraft bags (from my shop, House 129) for wrapping. They are the perfect size for a small bag of treats, a small journal or book, etc. For the package pictured above (see first image), I also slid my gift tag into a glassine bag for a little extra fun. You can attach the bag to the package with a little washi tape. Voila!
You can also attach your gift tags directly to your package with washi tape! I think it adds a little fun, don’t you? These bags are great for gifting 5×7 printables too!
