If you have been reading this blog for any time at all, you know how much I love coffee. And now, my love for coffee just got bigger! I have been asked to be a Keurig/ Green Mountain Coffee K-Cup® Ambassador!
My Keurig has changed my coffee drinking life. You see, I’ve always been a Folgers girl with a little cream I never really tested the waters with flavors, because in MY mind “that wasn’t coffee”. I would hit up Starbucks and other coffee shops for the occasional latte or frappuccino, but my morning cup of joe was the same thing every day.
But then something happened………..all the cool people were talking about Coconut Mocha coffee, Donut House Coffee, iced coffee and more! and they were making it all at home! One cup at a time. My first thought was, “I want to be cool and drink Hazelnut coffee and Sweet & Creamy Iced coffee!” My next thought was “but I drink a whole pot every morning, will I like getting only one cup at a time?“
The answer: Heck ya!!! Not only does my Keurig make a quick cup of coffee, but I would have a HOT FRESH cup of coffee every time! No more “warm strong/stale end of the pot“coffee. And the best part………I could have a new flavor with every cup!!

My hubbie surprised me with my Keurig and I adore it! My favorites are Dark Magic & Big Easy Bold! I add my flavor with creamer mainly, but would love to see a dark, bold flavored coffee in the Green Mountain future 🙂

I llove my keurig, up until June 2011 I hated coffee, so that’s saying a lot! I like the green mountain hazelnut, and their hot cocoas, byt my favourite is Wolfgang Puck’s Breakfast in Bed. It’s not Green Mountain but it’s super good, not bitter or too strong. Celestial Seasonings iced teas are all to do die for!

I am an occasional coffee drinker. Or you can say, I’m a social coffee drinker. I usually only step into a coffee shop when hanging out with my sister or friends. Even when I gave birth to my son five years ago, I never had the need for coffee in the morning like other moms do. But now that he’s a toddler and will be starting school this fall, I’m already dreading waking up very early in the morning, every single day, and trying to be alert the whole day. That’s why I’m getting more interested in buying myself a coffee machine, most particularly the Keurig system. (I think I’m one of the few moms who don’t own a coffee machine. LOL.) I’ve been reading/hearing mixed reviews about Keurig. But I do like the ability to make coffee for just one cup and with a variety of flavors.
I think the one cup machines are great for the occasional coffee drinkers too, because it’s hard to make a small pot of coffee, so this brews one perfect cup. But what’s great is, the over ice coffees are a great treat, as well as the iced teas, my daughters are loving the Sweet Tea and the Lemonade Iced Tea. If you are a hot tea or hot cocoa drinker you can brew those as well!!

I need to try the Island Coconut! I’ve heard good things about that flavor! My girls are obsessed with the Lemonade tea, they order that when they go out to eat, so they are thrilled to have that at home!
I just bought one two weeks ago! I have weekend company a lot, and it’s the perfect way to serve up an eclectic morning group! Now, I’m playing with all the flavor choices! Congrats on being a Keurig girl!

We were Senseo lovers for 5 years–total single cup converts! Gradually finding the pods became harder and harder. Six months ago we threw in the towel and bought our Keurig. We love it! The coffee is more expensive per cup than our Senseo was so we almost always buy our kcups in large boxes at Sams so we haven’t played much with flavor. Green Mountain is almost always one of the options there, but we find it a tad “light”. Would love GM to get us some bold options at Sams!! For now, I’ll check the pricing based on your coupons! Could I be a spokesperson?!

I LOVE coffee, always have!!!! Folgers is always in my cup…. Only kind I drink. My MIL has a Keurig and same with my SIL….but I always have thought that it would be really expensive for me to drink coffee using the Keurig. I have about 5 cups a morning, and towards the end, my pot of coffee is not good!! So, what do you think about the cost difference compared to a die hard folgers drinker?
Well, to be honest, it’s probably a little more $$ but I’m enjoying the variety and the ease, not to mention the fresh cup every time. You can buy an empty reusable K-cup that you can fill with your own coffee and I have filled mine with folgers a few times, though I enjoy the prefilled K-cups much more.
Also, the Green Mountain site has a Café Express Savings Club, where you can order coffee at a savings all the time, and you can cancel your free membership any time, so that helps too.

The coffee maker I have is empty as I am on disability and it would be nice to be able to make coffee just for me, I look forward to this time of year as I love pumpkin flavored coffee. Actually I love all flavors and always look for deals. This coffee maker and coffee would be an awesome gift as we have skipped holiday gifts for the past few years.
