Healthy Hair with Volume! | I’m Lovin’ It

I’ve been growing my hair out for the last year an a half. It’s been a slow process, but I love that I’ve finally achieved what I wanted. A length and style that I can change up, not wear the same every day.
I’m giddy that I can finally curl my hair again, and I like volume!!
(like how I tied my favorite scarf? Check out the woven scarf knot)
My latest discovery is something that does wonders for volume! It’s a foaming mousse by Vidal Sassoon! I just pump out a tennis ball size amount into my palm; work into into towel dried hair; Blow-dry or let dry naturally.
For extra volume – I dry my hair upside down!!
To help protect my hair from all my new styling fun……I’ve been using the Vidal Sassoon Repair & Finish Spray. You can spray this on finished hair (great for controlling flyaways), but I like to spray it on towel dried hair to prep for easy styling. It’s light and leaves my hair smooth and soft, not sticky or stiff.
These miracle products are from the new P&G Beauty & Grooming Vidal Sassoon Pro Series line. The iconic red brand was created to ensure that women can have stylish, low-maintenance hair with products available at affordable prices in stores where we already shop. These products can be found at mass retailers nationwide. So awesome!

Lookin’ good!! I don’t do my hair… I should… but I don’t. I’m a wash and go kinda gal. I rarely ever use products in my hair. Mainly because of laziness.
Thanks for the party. Have a Wonderful Weekend!
Your hair looks great…makes you look younger 🙂 A girl can never have enough volumn. Well, maybe the 80’s were a little out of control!

I love all that soft texture & fullness- beautiful Cheryl
Have a fabulous weekend!
This post is uncannily timely for me. I too have been growing my hair out, more out of necessity. It’s been around shoulder length for some time however during my last ‘trim’ in the fall my stylist became so engrossed in sharing details of her recent IRS audit (perhaps a clue to be noted) she sheared me like an Australian sheep in wool season. She both cut the length to almost a Pixie and thinned my naturally abundant locks leaving me needing to add lots-o-product to recoop my loss. I’m finding myself pinning anything relating to hair care and style so having this pop in my mailbox today feels like synchronicity. Your hair looks great by the way!
I am SO glad to see volume is back in style for hair these days. The whole flat, flat-ironed look is awful on me, and my hair always looked greasy. I’ll have to give this product a try, because I like some va-va-voom to my ‘do!
If you haven’t already, I’d love if you’d come join my How To Tuesday link party, too.
Love the hair … you look like you’re ready for a party! Thank you for hosting this one 🙂
So pretty!! 🙂
Thanks for hosting! Have a fun weekend 🙂
For volume, don’t rub conditioner into the roots of your hair–stop about an inch before you get there. Concentrate more on the ends. 🙂 Oil is produced at your scalp, and rubbing conditioner into it isn’t necessary and will only flatten your hair/make it less voluminous. For shine, rinse the conditioner with cool water, not hot.
Yes!! Great tip! Thanks so much for sharing!
I’m always looking for new products to add volume to my hair. I was an 80’s girl and you know how we love our volume!
So glad I could link up this week with you 🙂 Thanks for hosting and hope you have a great weekend!
Cheryl, I love your hair! Very, very cute!! I have naturally curly hair that used to be very thick, but as I’ve gotten older it is thinning out a bit. Right now, I only use a product called Zero Frizz to help control the frizz with my natural curls, but I’m going to check out the foaming mousse. I’ve loved your other favorite products, so I’m hoping I love this one, too! 🙂
Your hair looks so cute! My hair holds curl for about 10 seconds and then it’s flat city!
I may just have to try this one. It’s hard to find a something that tames flyaways. Thanks Cheryl!
Looks like a great product to use for added volume – thanks!
Your hair always looks beautiful, Cheryl! Love the picture!!! Gorgeous!
Gorgeous Cheryl 🙂
