I’m Lovin’ It: Turn Instagram pictures into a poster

It’s no secret how much I love my iPhone and taking pictures with it.  Instagram is my favorite iPhone app, that allows me to upload and share my photos, and now I can turn my collection  into a poster.

I. LOVE. IT!

Instagram poster

It was super easy to do with Social Print Studio Printstagram.   The poster is 20″ x 40″ in size (50cm x 100cm), and can accommodate anywhere between 50-400 photos (my poster has 288 photos).  They do all the work and size them to fit the full poster size & arrange them in a nice clean grid.  I then handed over $25 + $6 shipping and  a few days later I had a large, high-quality photo print made with the Instagram photos that I chose!  Printed on thick Fuji Crystal Archive paper, my poster is made to last and won’t fold or tear easily.

How to Make a Prinstagram Poster

1. Connect with Instagram so they can access your photos.
2. Choose black or white background and select the images to include (50-200 images optimal).
3. Confirm your order details.
4. Hand over the cash!

I think I had my order placed in under 10 minutes.  I chose “select all photos” , then ticked off the photos I did not want included.  Choosing my photos is what took the most time, but was very easy.

Don’t have an iPhone or Instagram account?  No worries…….. you can email Social Print Studio your square crop photos and they can make a poster with those photos!  No Instagram account needed!  A prinstagram poster would make a GREAT gift too!

I decided I wanted my poster framed, so I took my poster to Michaels with a 50% off framing coupon.  This is where I dropped a little cash ($170 to be exact), but it was SO worth it to me, because I hung it in a very visible spot in our house, and I LOVE how it looks!

Instagram poster hanging

My poster is filled with a lots of photos that represent our day to day life, many are not anything I would normally bother to print, but seeing them all together is a great way to reflect on our year.  Places we visited, funny moments at home, food we made and ate, things we love…...our life…..our story.  I think I almost cried when I opened it.

I was SO thrilled with my poster, I asked the good people at Social Print Studio if they could hook up a few of my readers with a poster, and they said YES!!

This is just awesome! Another “Why didn’t I think of that?” I’ve never used instagram or even heard of printstagr.am until now. I cannot wait to share this idea with the parents at school. We have been trying to come up with an end of the year gift for teachers. With all the pics we take on our phones throughout the year during school parties, sporting events, field trips, etc., this would be an AMAZING gift! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I would hang my instagram poster in our new home and showcase photos of our 4-legged babies(our 2 dogs), trips we’ve taken, and times with family and friends. It would be a great conversation piece and look awesome on one of our walls! I love it!!

Love this idea. This would be a great gift to the teacher I work for at my preschool. This way all the pictures she takes of the children she can keep and have a keepsake for herself at the end of the year. This is a great. I will let my room moms know about this right away.

ok this is a great idea. I work for a preschool and the teacher I work for loves to take pictures of the children and see how they change from the beginning of the year to the end. This would be great for her to have a lasting memory for the year with her kiddos. I will let our room moms know about this so she can get one of these

I love this! I was trying to think of a way to do something like this in our family room. We have been living in Alaska for a little under a year and have yet to fully decorate our house. Of course we have just a ton of pictures from the drive from Kentucky up here and of our first year here. This would be great and I think I’ll order a few even if I don’t win. Thanks for sharing!

Just followed you on Pinterest! I would put photos of my kids through the years, so at a glance we could see them as chubby lil babies up through now. I’d probably throw in a few photos of landscapes I’ve taken, or other good shots. Thanks so much for the opportunity! :D

    Hi Cheryl,
I just discovered your blog, you have SO many wonderful tutorials on here, I LOVE it!!!

I would be absolutely THRILLED to win the printstagram poster. I’ve been using Instagram for a while now, and love the square shape of the pics. The poster is a great way to display them!

Since I just moved in to a new (& bigger) apartment, I would definitely keep it for myself, and hang it in my living room, so that all my visitors would be able to see it.

Thank you so much for asking for this giveaway for your followers!

I’m not following you on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & Pinterest. I also liked Print studio on facebook, and tweeted about your giveaway. Hopefully that is enough entries for me to WIN!

YAY, best of luck to everyone! :)

OOPS! Correction to my last post:

Rather than “I’m NOT following you on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest.”

    I meant to say:
“I’m NOW following you on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest.”

    Sorry for my typo!
