Great idea! As a mother of 2 teachers, I know the last thing teachers need is another coffee mug or desk chotchkies. Every summer my son and daughter have to take a box of mugs and trinkets to the Goodwill. They just can’t use that many cups and the house would be nothing but “teacher” trinkets everywhere if they didn’t. They love their students and appreciate being thought of. Some of the best gifts they receive are gift cards to Starbucks, Walmart, school supply stores, or even gift card to the movies. Teachers spend a lot of their own money on supplies for students, so even a $2 gift card could do more for them than a new mug. Don’t mean to rag on any gifts, but if you’re not a teacher, you might not realize what they truly need. Have a great day! And I’m thankful for every teacher and their patience to teach our future!
Such a cute idea! I don’t need any teacher appreciation gifts, but I’m sure this will come in handy another time 🙂
