Smoked Sausage Alfredo For a Quick Dinner
This is REALLY good you guys!
I’m talking a five-star dinner at our house. To be honest, not a lot of meals get the full 5-star rating here. It has to pass several points…….
How easy is it to prepare? Is it full of flavor? Did everyone eat it? and if they did how much did they like it? First, let’s talk about time and flavor. You can’t really beat a delicious meal that you can have on the table in 15 minutes. Butterball Everyday Smoked Turkey Dinner Sausage makes this really easy. You simply blend the hardwood-smoked flavored sausage with a robust flavored Alfredo sauce, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and cheese in a skillet while the pasta cooks. That’s it.
Did everyone eat it? To my surprise…..yes!!
My husband doesn’t usually care for pasta with white sauce, but he was intrigued by the flavors and being a Turketarian, he was especially excited about the Smoked Turkey Sausage. And guess what?!……….he had THREE SERVINGS!! That’s unheard of you guys! He really loved it, as did the rest of us.
This is one dish that will definitely stay in our dinner menu rotation. The crushed red pepper gives it just a little zing, not too much kick, but feel free to use a little less if you’re worried about it being too spicy.

This would rate 5 stars at my house, too! Sausage, sun dried tomatoes and spinach? Irresistible!!!
Delicious! I’ve made this twice already. My daughter is a picky eater, and she always goes for a second helping.
This is dinner tonight.
I love the sundried tomatoes. Chewy sweetness against smoky sausage. YUMMMMM

Pinning this for later. I love smoked sausage but don’t have many ways in which to use it.
Made this for our evening meal tonight. It was a huge hit everyone agreed it was a keeper. Thanks so very much!
You can’t cook garlic for five minutes at medium high heat and it be at it’s best. Just sayin’…….
Had to throw the first batch away, wasted all the sausage as it had burned bits of garlic all over it and the taste of burned garlic to boot…..just me? Anyone else have this problem? Or do people just comment on how good it “SOUNDS” and never really try the recipe? Just wondering……
sorry, I wrote the recipe the way I make it and I had no issue – I use the jarred minced garlic
As of Feb 2016 we’ve made this recipe probably 6+ times and it’s turned out wonderful every time.
Where would you find the sun dried tomatoes in store ?
Could you also use your favorite bottle of Alfredo Sauce?
I can usually find the sun dried tomatoes in the produce section. If I don’t make the Alfredo sauce, I usually buy Barillo or Bertolli jarred sauce. Enjoy!! My family love this one, and it’s so quick and easy!!
Looks terrific! Kind of reminds me of spaghetti carbonara but with sausage instead. My hubby’s gonna love it. Thanks for sharing.
Just tried it tonight and it was VERY well received! Even the four year old devoured two bowls. I found the sun dried tomatoes in the canned vegetable section of the grocery store with the rest of the tomatoes. I also substituted the heavy cream for half and half to save a few calories.
I pinned this weeks ago and finally got around to trying it. WOW! This recipe was simple and tasted amazing. It was a hit with the whole family. The only change I made was leaving out the red pepper as I have a family member who can’t do any amount of spicy food. It had more than enough wonderful flavor without it. Thanks for a great recipe!
This smoked turkey sausage combined with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, spinach, and Parmesan cheese sounds incredible! I will definitely cook it next weekend! Thanks a lot for sharing unique recipe!
This smoked sausage is so Instagrammable and adorable! As you know I made it a short while ago and it was lovely! Thx for sharing, Cheryl!
I used mild Italian sausage instead of the smoked sausage with extra sun-dried tomatoes, spinach and cream and this dish was absolutely out of this world. We had extra and we ate it for days. I will not lose this recipe, so easy and plan on making it again soon. This is a real keeper, a five-star recipe. Yummy!
This is on our reg. rotation now! Have you ever frozen and reheated? Want to prepare for a family member recovering from surgery, but hoping to freeze so she can reheat and eat at her convenience.
I have not, but if you try it, please let us know!! Enjoy!
