Taking pictures has always been something I’ve enjoyed! Even way before blogging, I was always the one with the camera taking all the pictures. I love that blogging has allowed me the opportunity to grow that passion, and learn more about photography……all at the same time that iphoneography has taken the world by storm. There’s a rare moment that we don’t have our phones on us to capture memories and moments. As cool and handy as my iphone is, it can’t do what my big girl camera can do (think zoom lenses especially). 
There are times I will carry both my big dslr with my 28-75mm lens around and still take pictures with my iphone…..you know, because I can’t miss an opportunity to Instagram what I’m doing in the moment 😉 But most of the time, I leave my big girl camera at home, hoping to get “good enough” shots with my iphone. Several weeks ago, my friends at Staples offered to send me a camera that is a game changer!! The Samsung NX300 20.3 MP SMART Microless Camera With 20-50 mm Lens – what makes this little gem so special? 
This camera has WiFi capability! You can upload pictures from the camera to your phone or even straight to Facebook and videos right to YouTube. No more juggling 2 cameras! ….tell me I’m not the only one who takes a picture with their big camera, then whips out their iphone so they can share a picture on Facebook or Instagram. And lets take it a step further…….. The Samsung NX300 comes with a 20-50 mm retractable zoom lens in the box, but there are many other lenses that you can get for this camera (I want to get the 18-200mm) , great for those of us who don’t want the bulk of a DSLR camera. What really makes the NX300 stand out is it’s size….. just 12 ounces, which makes it easy to just toss in my purse. Now I don’t have to choose between using my phone or the DSLR! My daughters and I went to San Diego and stayed on Coronado Island at Hotel Del a few weeks ago. I took my dslr, my iphone and the NX300 with me, guess which one I used the most?! Below are just a few of the photos we took on our trip with the Samsung NX300
The girls were SO excited to be in Southern California for the first time!……and their first time seeing the Pacific Ocean. 
Hotel Del Coronado was even more beautiful in person! we can’t wait to go back!

We took a walk on Coronado Island one evening where you could see the San Diego skyline…….the Samsung NX300 did fabulous in the dark – this was shot with out a tripod. I’ll be honest, I’m in love with the gorgeous white leather, but it does come in black and brown as well I’ll be sharing a little more about our trip soon……but I couldn’t wait to share these photos with you AND give away a camera!! What I really like is it can take great pictures even in the dark as we have a lot of deer here during the winter eating our quail food! And I really don’t mind as long as I can get some great picts.

I love everything about this camera! I love the WiFi and how easily I will be able to transfer pictures with my Galaxy within seconds. Sharing with friends and family so easy. What i like best is that you never miss an opportunity to upload those pics to your favorite social media site ( as long as there a wifi around) with its built-in wi-fi and media apps!

This camera is so awesome! I find that, while my i-phone takes great photos, if I want to take photos with more dimension and quality a 20-50MM lens is the way to go. I am the ‘family curator’ of photos for our family gatherings and this camera would be wonderful to work with. Our large family has had some recent members who have left us due to either terminal illness or horrible accidents which reinforces even more the value and memories of taking wonderful photographs of those we love and cherish. Its a true testament of the beauty of life.
I love the fact that this camera has 20.3 mp, which I definitely need the upgrade since I’m still using my 12 mp camera that I’ve had since 2010 and seems to nearly its death. I take tons of pictures, love photography, and am in need of a better-quality camera – this would be really nice to win.

My favorite thing about this camera is definitely the wifi feature! That takes so much work out of moving your pictures all around, you can just send it where you need to and you’re done!
what i like about this camera is its ability to work in different lighting, nightime pictures with most cameras are really dark and hard to see, but this camera seems to have it mastered, cant wait to try it out fingers crossed!
