25 years ago yesterday….I did just that!
It has been an incredible 25 years and I am amazed at how fast those years have flown by! The Bug Man is a kind and caring man ~ the one who melts my heart. He is ALWAYS there for me. ALWAYS by my side. ALWAYS there to catch me when I fall.

I love……..
I know that I love waking up next to you every morning. I love knowing that you’ll make me laugh out loud every day. I love talking to you and sharing everything with you. I love that you put up with me and all my flaws. I love that you are THE best Dad and provider for our family! I love that you NEVER let us down. I love that your family ALWAYS comes first. I love that you tell me I look fabulous when I feel fat. I love that you hug me when I cry. I love that you will go to the store when I don’t feel like going. I love that you will pick up pizza when I don’t feel like cooking. I love that you know me. I LOVE that you LOVE me. I love that it’s painfully obvious that our 2 kids are our 2 kids and they have good and bad features/traits/habits from each of us. I hope we have managed to set an example for our girls as to what a happy, successful marriage is.
*********
I’ve been wanting a piece of really cool art work to put in the house of just the two of us (other than this really lovely wedding shot!- hey, it was the 80’s don’t laugh! haha). Our first daughter was born almost 18 months after we were married…..so most all photos we have are with the kids.
When the folks at Modern Bird Studios contacted me I knew this was my opportunity to get my priceless treasure!
Who is Modern Bird Studios? This husband and wife team create one-of-a-kind pieces with a combination of digital, hand and painting processes on an oak composite, or, for the extreme modern enthusiasts, on acrylic mounted to oak.
Original photo can be seen here
Seeing our piece from Modern Bird in person was even more beautiful than I ever imagined! I think it was the perfect shot of my husband and I that show’s exactly what our marriage is……..both of us working hand in hand! I LOVE it!

Beautiful Artwork–I love your picture that you posted. I would choose a picture of my baby holding a dandelion…black/gray and yellow for the flower. Thanks for “spotlighting” Modern Bird Studios!
Happy Aniversary to you and your hubby!
Happy Anniversary. Such a sweet picture. I love the two color process- great giveaway. I follow you 🙂
I like you on facebook!! Keeping my fingers crossed!
I would choose the between the 3 and 4 color combo…ive had a project like this in mind for a while now but just never got around to it. I have a strip of photos from a photobooth of my boyfriend and I and I’ve always wanted to earge the strip in this kind of look. I think it would be awesome!
I have been trying to figure out a way to do a cool picture of my husband and I while we both have bald heads (mine is from chemo). I think this would be perfect. I like the two color process that looks like black ink on wood. Thanks for the opportunity!
Happy Anniversary!!
I really like the 2 color process… all of their art pieces are very cool, though!!
i’m an email subscriber 🙂

I would love to get a pic of my and my hubby for our bedroom and do it in the black and white or gray and white.
I love the yellow/gray combo. I can’t decide which picture. I have a really good pic of our son with our dog. Or I would maybe do on of my boyfriend and I.

I just took a picture of my best friend and her fiance that would be perfect for this method! I like the 2 color original with black and gray the best. 🙂

I LOVE the red and white color combo and there’s this pic of my mom and dad that would be GORGEOUS!
And I already follow you!
I love the acrylic mounted on wood…but even with the awesome GC, it is still too expensive for me! I would have my precious grandbaby’s face placed on it. Love it!
I was going to say a picture of my two girls, but I ADORE the picture you selected. A picture of me & my husband holding holds- in gray and black with little pops of white. Perfect.
I’ve also subscribed to email
I would choose a picture of the kids loving on each other, with the blue-gray colors.
I would use a picture of our grandchildren laughing and hugging.
I like the red/beige color scheme.
Love the red/beige coloring!
We have an adorable photo of the kids laughing together!

Congratulations! I also just celebrated my 27 year anniversary. It’s gone by so fast and has been wonderful, most of the time. Each day may not always be a bed of roses but I wouldn’t have done it any different now, if I had the chance.
Congrat’s to you and me!
I just wanted to wish you a Happy Anniversary!! You two are a very cute couple!!
Congrats!!

Oh, I love this! I have wanted to get some custom art for our house! I just love the grey/black combo… Stunning!
So happy for you – and love seeing your wedding picture 🙂 You are too cute.
I love the black and grey color combo. I have lots of vacation pictures of my family to choose from. Thanks for the giveaway!
I would like to use the two color original process #9, for a photo of
my husband. What a wonderful giveaway! A very happy anniversary to you!
You guys are too cute! Love the wedding picture! 🙂
I married my husband 8 months ago. I was actually thinking today, how ironic, about what a great 1st anniversary gift would be. This would be a great gift for him, seeing we never did anything special to display our favorite wedding photo. I like the color combo which is bone and blueish/purple. It would look great in our bedroom. Even if I don’t win the gift certificate, I am so appreciative of the great idea for an anniversary gift. Thank you! 🙂
I love all of them, its hard to pick. But I would give it to my son and his new wife. Using a pic from their wedding.
I shared about this giveaway on my facebook page! 🙂
I joined Modern Bird Studios on Facebook. 🙂 I’m already a member of Tidy Mom on Facebook.
I would love a red and neutral pop art of my husband and I on the day we got engaged.
Okay, Wow! 25 years this day and age is amazing!!! I pray that I will be celebrating the very same with my husband in 21 years! What’s your secret??? Inquiring minds must know!!!
As for the giveaway, I have to say it is amazing!!! I love the 2 dimensional ones the most I think, though I don’t know what colors I would choose. I have a picture of my family from last year of the court room when we adopted our now 16 year old daughter, I think that would be awesome in the 2 dimensional design. It’s a photo taken from the back of the courtroom where you can see the backs of myself, my husband, our daughter, her birth mother, and the judge on his bench. It speaks volumes as it was the official beginning of the three of us as one unit through the great and mighty glory of God.
I’d select the Multi colored process in the 4 colored paintings. They’re all so original and unique. I would take a current photo of my children, that’s if I can round them all up to be home at the same time. Thanks for the giveaway.. fun blog.
Another change to win is great. Congrats on your anniversary and I love your husbands cool pose in the wedding photo… He knew he snaged a good one I think lol… I would select the 4 color paiting in a multi colored process on a picture of my children.. Thanks again…Kat
TYPO’s !!!!
The picture I would use would have to be one of my niece and nephew. As for the color combo, I’m not completely sure. I would need to think about that a little more 🙂
