Dryer Sheet Tip & Pretty Laundry Rooms

You may remember that I was recently sent a box of Arm & Hammer Essentials Fabric Softener Sheets and I have to tell you what I’ve been doing with them! I’ve been keeping one softener sheet in the linen closet with our towels, and one in the chest with our extra sheets. Oh MY! Every time I pull out a towel or fresh sheets they smell wonderfully fresh! Like they just came out of the laundry.
Let’s face it, we spend a lot of time doing laundry.
It’s not a “fun” task, but it can be more enjoyable in a pretty space.
Kevin and Amanda make great use of a small laundry room space
Jen blows my mind with all her special touches on her dark laundry room, turned gorgeous beach theme laundry room
Even a space as small as a bathroom stall can be turned into a pretty laundry space, like Young House Love did with theirs.
I’m participating in The Switch & Save Challenge, trying a variety of Arm & Hammer products and sharing my experiences with you!

My dream would be to have a laundry room- mudroom combination. I would love to have shelving and cubby holes to organize everything. Right now what we have is a laundry closet, with just one shelf.

My dream would be to HAVE a laundry room! 🙂 LOL Our washer and dryer are out in the garage. I would LOVE to have a ROOM for the washer/dryer and to sort and fold laundry. One day….
My dream laundry would be light and bright with windows and yellow walls. It would have lots of storage and shelving, and plenty of counter area for folding. I would have a front loading washer and dryer. And laundry would always be a joy–never a task…
My dream would be to have a laundry room/mudroom combined into one. I would love to have hooks for bags & coats & lots of cabinets to store supplies and seasonal decorations.
My laundry room is also a tiny furnace room. Blech. There’s no place do divide the space and make anything pretty. It’s functional, and so very not pretty. I’ve wanted to put some pretty curtains in, maybe some shelves. But, it’s just…so…blech.

Well my dream laundry room would have someone in there doing the laundry for me! And folding and putting it up! I think that’s the worst part. I love the pictures your posted of the laundry rooms, any one of those would be great!
We just bought our first home, and the ‘laundry room’ consists of a washer and dryer in the basement, with a wash sink that desperately needs to be replaced. No shelves, no lighting…heck, the walls are concrete. UGH. I dream of a bright, clean space with a counter for folding and a rack for drying. 🙂
Our laundry room is what I currently call the “Utili-corridor” as it is a hallway which connects the garage to the house which contains all our utilities on one side. I would love to have cute lighting and much better shelving/containers to turn it into a much more user friendly area. In all honesty I’m just happy to have someplace to do laundry!
Honestly, I just want it to be neat and orderly. New appliances and perhaps some cabinetry wouldn’t hurt either.
My dream laundry room would be one inside my house. Currently it is in a detached utility room.
I’m a fan of Tidymom on Facebook. Thanks!
Ooo…Ummm, stacking laundry machines, a really nice eye-popping color that makes me feel energized, lots of organization! 🙂
my dream laundry room would be to have my own and a very expensive washer and dryer that came stocked with laundry detergent

I subscribe to Tidy Mom. I would love to have a laundry room the size of a large bedroom to include a wall-mounted ironing board, broom closet, and gift wrapping station. Right now our washer and dryer are in the room that connects the garage to the kitchen. It works, but it could be so much more glorious!
My dream laundry room would have a sink, storage and be gorgeous!
Right now having a washer that works would be awesome!! (Mine just went out!!) Actually the one thing I would love to have in a laundry room is a place to hang clothes and a place to have an iron and board. I iron most everthing and it is up in our bedroom usually.

My dream laundry room? It would be a sailboat theme. That way I could dream my dream while I wash the wash!

My dream room would have a window. Really kicking myself that we didn’t put one in when we built our house.
If I tell you I dream of a laundry room with no laundry in it, would that be too pathetic?

I want an open, bright laundry room. Mine is in the dark basement.
I would love to paint my laundry room a robin egg’s blue and get a front loading dryer to match my new front loading washer. More light would be great, too.
