Total Time 5 hours 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts *(see notes)
  • 1 envelope Italian salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • hot cooked pasta or rice

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into medium-sized chunks and place in the slow cooker.
  2. Combine salad dressing mix and water and pour over chicken.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and soup until blended**. Pour mixture over chicken. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Salt and pepper to taste and serve over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

*I often use chicken tenderloins and do not cut them up. Or you can cook chicken breasts whole and shred the chicken before serving.

**You can also just add the soup and cut up cream cheese into chunks and place over the chicken instead of using a mixer to blen.
