This post is sponsored by Taco Bell. Inviting you to try the bold new Cantina Bowl.

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you may have seen me mention my new found love for Taco Bell.  Yep….. Taco Bell’s new Cantina Bowl to be exact.

Taco Bell recently teamed up with Chef Lorena Garcia, a world-renowned chef who has worked at several high-end restaurants, a restaurateur herself, and even a guest on Top Chef Masters – as an authority on flavorful, quality food to put together a higher-quality, real ingredient based menu.

Hear Chef Lorena talk about the special magical touch everyone has when they make food.

I was intrigued and hungry.  Our kitchen was in disarray last week while we were taking out old appliances and bringing in new ones.  So when Steve said, what can I grab for dinner?  I said “I want to try the Cantina Bowl from Taco Bell.”

When I opened the clam shell I was instantly impressed.  I expected to see I lot of lettuce and a few other ingredients tossed on top. Instead I found plenty of citrus-herb marinated chicken, whole black beans full of flavor,  roasted corn & pepper salsa, a creamy cilantro dressing, pico de gallo, crunchy romaine lettuce, and my favorite, guacamole made from real Hass avocados, all served up on a bed of cilantro rice (560 calories).

Nice first impression! But the real test came, when I picked up my fork.

No generic Taco Bell Flavor.  The Cantina bowl was full of vibrant flavors and texture.  From the fluffy rice and crunchy roasted corn to the juicy chicken and creamy guacamole. I enjoyed every bite……….so much so, that I pulled in to Taco Bell the very next day and enjoyed another Cantina Bowl for lunch.

I like knowing I don’t have to sacrifice quality when I’m on the run and need a time saving, value friendly meal.

Taco Bell is doing a great job with redefining what quality and bold flavor at a fast food restaurant can look and taste like!
