I have a fabulous giveaway for you today from a fun new company, and a TidyMom sponsor……ShadowCase.
*UPDATE: Congratulations to the winner….. #5 Deanna Jane Cullen who said….
I would love a shadowbox. I would use it for my daughters baby dedication dress and her first baby bracelet that my husband bought her with a beautiful B&W picture I took of her that day. She is now almost 8 and and this has been on my “to do” list for a long while.
ShadowCase is a brand new, unique style of heirloom-quality shadowbox that makes it easy for you to showcase your memories. Owner, Janna Ruth is a stay at home mom who has created a product line of 12X12 shadowboxes called ShadowCase that customers can customize to display scrapbook pages, cherished keepsakes, collections, and memoirs.
Janna let me choose a ShadowCase of my own. I had a hard time choosing
from all of their interchangeable frames, reversible “StoryBoards”, and accessory kits, but they made it easy for me to create a beautiful keepsake that can be passed down for generations. You can even play around in the shop and customize your own using the online ShadowCase Designer.
I had so many ideas as to how I could use my ShadowCase but I decided on displaying some heirlooms from my parent’s wedding, along with a childhood picture of me and my brother, and a few other family keepsakes. I also used my Silhouette SD to cut out a little vinyl to add the year my parents were married.
It’s fun looking at these items displayed together in such a unique way. I’m thrilled with how it turned out. The boxes are high quality and so well built I know they will stand the test of time!
ShadowCase makes it easy to turn your memories into artwork!
Check out their inspiration gallery to see the ShadowCases other’s have designed.

Wow. Her inspiration gallery made my head spin with so many decorating ideas! My kneejerk response was to do a ShadowCase for our wedding (almost 1 year!), but after seeing the gallery, I might have to think a little harder and highlight an interest instead. Probably something crafty.
What lovely keepsakes Shadowboxes make! So interesting to see all the different ideas for using them.
I have a small collection of hand-written recipes from my mother who passed away in 2000, and I’ve been trying to come up with an appropriate way of displaying them. Think I’ve found my answer…..
I tweeted. It was just too cute not to share. http://twitter.com/allthingsjane/status/23265863945

I’d love a ShadowCase for my daughter’s room especially. What would I put in it? Some of her many drawings and doodles, jewelry she doesn’t wear anymore, etc.
I should get one for the baby girl we lost, so I could share all the little momentos we have of her short life and birth.
