My secret to keeping myself from licking the bowl, the beaters and the spoon?……..
CHEW GUM!
If I chew gum while I bake, then I don’t want to sample the batter!
Right now my favorite gum is Dentyne Blast Cool Lime

I have a small scoop that’s perfect for cupcakes and an even smaller one perfect for scooping cookie dough so they are all about the same size.

Gotta lick the batter don’t you? Just a taste? Then chew the gum so not tempted to eat a whole cupcake, or two, before anyone knows they’re missing!

Thanks for the great tips. We were just cupcaking this past weekend and I really think we didn’t yield what we were supposed to because there were too many extra fingers in the bowl! Gum for everyone!

I *love* gum with squishy jelly inside it! Haven’t had any in forever…must find this.
